Insane is in the UK and I'm pretty sure those are all PAL. (Unless ordered elsewhere.) Although i'm not quite sure if Insane has tested it (I can only assume so). Some people that have been having trouble with this guide, may want to try this guide (Windows Vista or Windows 7 only).

Yep it works, I had to burn a demo just to get the screenshots for this guide, It shouldn’t matter what region your console is.

I presume your burning a demo, do you actually have a folder called content on the CD / DVD? Some people have called the DVD content in the past which won’t work.

Also did you un rar the demo, another common mistake is people create the folders on the CD / DVD themselves then put the rar file in the folder structure, again that doesn’t work either.

Hi Guys,

First time post here, I'm looking to burn the FN4 demo. I followed the instructions as per the first page of this thread, un-rar'd the file, downloaded the reccomended burn software (imgBurn) and followed the steps exactly. Trouble i have though is that when in my xbox it just reads a "mixed media disc" and won't let me do anything with it.

The only thing i wasn't clear about in the instructions was what folder exactly I should be burning. I burnt the "content" folder, but should i have gone further in?? Am i making a school-boy error somewhere?

I'd appreciate any help with this and thanks in advance.

MG

p.s. forgot to mention i'm using xp

If you burned the content folder with everything inside (of course). It is burned correctly, look in the Game Library, you'll find the demo in there.

Is your burned DVD called content or do you actually have a folder called content on the DVD?

Its a common mistake people will call the DVD content and not have a content folder on the actual DVD its self.

No iv put the folder called content on the disc
The content folder has a folder inside which inturn has a folder inside
And then there is the demo file itself
I use DVD-R discs and I use 8x write speed

Once I have done the disc I put it in my xbox and then it comes up mixed media disc so I go into my game library and it isn't there!
