If this is true , then i'm not buying the new Xbox . It might be better to buy steam's new console : The Steam Box . More on the Steam Box can be found here :
This is ball if this happens. Its means you cant play 360 games on it cos you need a code to activate the disk to play.
I dont see this happening to be honest, unless you get a dongle with the game disc that has to be put in the console to play the game. It would be hard to enforce a system like this without making Xbox Live mandatory, which would not happen.
I found a couple of errors in this quote of theirs and... 1) That's very unlikely for Microsoft to do such thing, it's ridiculous and they know they'd lose people for an idiot reason. 2) I hate that shitty name "Xbox 720" just stop it already. 3) It's called Blu-ray Disc. I personally don't believe Microsoft would risk releasing a new console next year, everyone loves Xbox 360, the online gaming is awesome and a new one is bad timing. Give it 5-7 or 10 years, no need for a new console (except Nintendo which Wii was a PS2 better-ish). And.. rumours suck. That's all.
I personally doubt it. The market for used game is too big to be ignored. And in addition it is one of the sources of success that could bring more turn over for a console and/or a game disc.
"Xbox 720" is ridiculously stupid as "Dragon Ball Hoshi". Don't believe neither, it's fake bullshit. Microsoft's smarter than the fools who've put out these idiotic rumours out.
