Boot off the CD and do an install that way, from what you posted up it looks like your trying to upgrade from Windows XP which is not possible with that beta.

Please note for the installation to be successful you need to set the date on your computers bios back to 02 December 2007.

The above said windows 7 is not actually windows 7 beta
Its just a modified version of windows vista which includes all the versons of vista
The above person changed only the boot screen and remaining everything is same
Dont go for this instead download only windows 7 transformation pack u will gain maximum extra appearence and very less memory

Please do some research and you will find this is indeed real, this is a very early alpha of Windows 7 not intended to be seen by members of the public.

wtf

i just bought that laptop last month
i tried doing this
i did everything
then when i rebooted the 2nd time
it said i need to reinstall the vista to get it to activate
is this a fake? or could you actually get me help and try to get it back to work because i dont have the CD of the vista.

This is real, although its a very early alpha.
You will probably have more luck with Beta 1, Link
