I’ve used this for a number of years, it’s very handy for converting videos to MP4 for my N95 / PSP. Never had any problems with the quality of the encodes.

The pay for version has more features but this should get the job done fine.

Awesome program. I have heard a lot of people that like this program and I think I may have to download this and see it for myself.

I usually just used PSPVideo9 but it eats my CPU to no end how does this one effect the CPU? PSPVideo9 can pick how many KB/s for the audio and video, can this program also do that? The major problem with Video9 is that even if the priority is on Very Low it will easily take 90% of my CPU then my laptop gets VERY hot.

I see it uses about 45% of the CPU. Which is a lot less then 85%. I might have to give it a try.

I use badaboom! Which as you can see is using only 15% of my cpu and using more gpu power to do the convert.

Nope its not freeware. It does have a trial somewhere on this page. Though Badaboom requires a GPU which supports NVIDIA CUDA technology. Its an amazing converter though.

I don't know exactly what it can convert. Though its now converting a .mkv file. it has support for dvd's. It can convert them to ps3, xbox 360, ipod nano, iphone, apple tv, blackberry bold, youtube, psp, ipod classic, zune and custom media center.

Nice! im actually looking for something that can convert to psp, psp has a different type of profile all on its own if im not mistaken right?? unlike Xbox, you can put it in wmv format and it will work, PSP has its own type of format? right??

PSPVideo9 can but it demolishes your CPU. I don't know if they made an update to make it where it takes less CPU

Yes, PSP uses MP4. It also supports SOME AVI formats unless its a modded PSP you can get AVI player. Which should play all AVI files.

I happen to know a bit about modding a PSP. If you need any help let me know.

Yeah, it should work just fine.

When we start getting close to page 3 on things, they tend to go a little off course. It's ok though, I don't see it as too big of a problem.
