In Super Metroid you play the role of Samus Aran, who has to stop the space pirates and their leader, the Mother Brain. You start off with no weapons and abilities, but as you progress through the game you will find more so you can get to new areas. The game is the third game in the series, after the first game on the NES and the sequal on the Gameboy. The game plays as a sidescroller and it's one of the best rated games for the SNES.
