Pokemon Colosseum Japanese Bonus Disc Download [NTSC-J]

    What is this?

Here is a download of the very rare Pokemon Colosseum Japanese Bonus Disc.

This disc was given to people who pre ordered Pokemon Colosseum in Japan. The disc differs from the US version of the disk, once all 48 Shadow Pokémon have been purified trainers playing the Japanese version of the Pokemon Colosseum can obtain Celebi via this bonus disc. On the North-American version, Celebi is replaced by Jirachi.

    To use:

You will either need a modded GameCube or have something like the Phantasy Star exploit setup so you can boot games from any region on your GameCube.

You can also use a Wii with the homebrew channel installed and load the iso via Nintendont. If you enable native mode on Nintendont you will be able to connect an official GBA to GameCube link cable to the Wii and download Celebit to a Japanese Pokemon GBA game. Please be aware if loading this ISO via Nintendont unofficial GBA to GameCube link cables do not work.

    To get the Celebi:

You will need a completed Japanese Pokemon Colosseum save on your memory card which has all 48 shadow Pokémon purified, which we now also have thanks to HaxAras!

You can then use this bonus disc to download a Celebi to your Japanese copy of Ruby / Sapphire on the GBA. You must have defeated the Pokémon league to download Celebi, I believe you can download up to 48 Celebis, each time you play through and beat the Pokémon league on the GBA you will be allowed to download another.

I hope some people can make use of this.

The SHA1 of this iso is: 104d65e2a2f64c2978bbda0d971ff24ae9566fc5, redump link

Recently a different version of this disc has been found, a v2 if you will. Known as the Kakuchou Disc. This differs from this disc as it contains a playable Pokemon Channel Demo. More information can be found here: Pokemon Colosseum Japanese Bonus Disc v2 (Kakuchou Disc)

Though I can't say for sure, if your Wii is chipped or softmodded, it would most likely work using Gamecube Backup launcher 0.2.

This pokemon was changed in the US and UK release so its not possible unless the whole japanese game was patched to english, which won't happen.

You first need to find a complete Japanese save game which no one seems to have, then transfer it to a Japanese copy of ruby / sapphire (maybe on a flash card) then you can trade it to your legit USA or Europe copy of Ruby / Sapphire... its a lot of work put it that way.

I hope one day someone would post up a Japanese save for this as a i have everything else needed to do it... already have a legit Celebi anyway but still!

taylordcraig sent me this PM on how to get the disc to provide an Ageto Celebi to a US / Eu version of the game:

"After quite a bit of experimenting, I've successfully found a way to force the Pokémon Colosseum Japanese Bonus Disc to provide a genuine Ageto Celebi to a US (or PAL) Colosseum save file. This Celebi can then be traded to a US/PAL copy of Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen, and even migrated to the current generation of DS games.
    You will need the following:
    1) ISO of the Japanese Bonus Disc YOU PROVIDED
    2) A US or PAL copy of Pokémon Colosseum
    3) US/PAL save file with all 48 Shadow Pokémon purified and an empty party slot (if you need one, use NuGaSa to restore one of these: US/PAL) I HAVE A US SAVE
    4) A US/PAL copy of a Pokémon GBA game [optional, must match the region of your Colosseum game disc] THIS CAN BE FR/LG/R/S/E
    5) A good hex editor and an understanding of how they work (HxD is recommended if you need one, Google it.)
    6) A way to run Gamecube backups on your GC/Wii. SD MEDIA LAUNCHER IS $20

Now that you have your materials together, follow these instructions carefully.

Step 1: Open your Japanese Bonus Disc ISO in your hex editor of choice.
Step 2: Replace the following hex offsets with the capital letter 'E' (or 'P' if you have a PAL copy of Colosseum): 29AB8003, 29F4FEBB, 29F50AC3.
Step 3: Save the hacked ISO and run it with whatever backup-running method you use. Your Colosseum memory card should be in Slot A, and should have at least one party slot free in-game.
Step 4: Press A to proceed through the menus until you arrive at a screen with two options. The Shrine should be the right option, select it. A cutscene will play featuring Celebi, and you'll be told in Japanese that Celebi is now in your Colosseum party!
Step 5: Start up Colosseum and check your party. You should have a genuine Ageto Celebi!
Step 6 (optional): Transfer Celebi to Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen as you would any other Pokémon. You can also Pal Park it to the DS games after doing so.

    Enjoy!
    =================
After receiving your first Celebi in your Colosseum file, revisiting the Shrine in the bonus disc will reveal that you have the option to send up to 48(!) Celebi to copies of Ruby/Sapphire (one per game cart). However, this will require additional hacking to work, which can be stacked with the above in order to have a hack that works in both cases. Please note that this is UNCONFIRMED, and may damage your GBA save file! If you would prefer a safe alternative, just delete your Colosseum save that you used in the previous step and replace it with one of the ones I provided. It will forget that you had your first Celebi, and you can do that as much as you need.

Step 1: Open the ISO in a hex editor again.
Step 2: Go to the following address in hex: 2A1294A0.
Here, you'll see that there are two four-letter game IDs. By default, these are "AXPJ" (Japanese Sapphire) and "AXVJ" (Japanese Ruby). These two games are the only games that Celebi can be sent to normally. In theory, you could replace these IDs with the IDs of any Pokemon GBA games -- however, it's probably not going to work with anything but other regions of Sapphire/Ruby. That being said, replace both four-letter IDs with the following, depending on the region of the GBA game(S) you want to transfer to:
    English/USA: AXPEAXVE
    PAL: AXPPAXVP
Step 3: After making that replacement, save and run the hacked ISO.
Step 4: Go to the Shrine button and answer the first choice to Eagun's question. A GBA connection prompt will come up. Connect a GBA with the GBA-GCN link cable to controller slot 2, and power the game on. Make sure you've saved inside the Pokémon Center on the GBA game, and that you have at least one free party slot.
Step 5: The Celebi should be transferred, and you will be prompted (in Japanese) to turn off the GBA's power. Check your party in-game, you should have an Ageto Celebi!
Please note that the above part about the 48 Celebi hack is UNCONFIRMED, but there's no reason in theory why it wouldn't work out. I'm not responsible if your game gets screwed up.

Edit 1: Confirmed that it can be traded to Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen, too.
Edit 2: Added (UNTESTED but theoretically working) instructions for hacking the 48 Celebi transfers into working.
Edit 3: Safe alternative to the 48 Celebi transfers until it can be confirmed.
Edit 4: Save files updated to work a little better. Don't ask.

    Problem

Hey, Thanks for all the info, but whenever I try downloading the ISO, the download keeps getting interrupted. Is it only on my side? Let me know what's going on.

Use a web browser that will resume downloads, such as Chrome / Firefox or a download manager.

Can someone here help me with the whole hex editing thing? It says to replace the values with E but I'm not exactly sure what to do.

I've Found This Topic Before While Searching For The Possibility Of A Shiny Ageto Celebi. I Have A Jap Pokemon Ruby, A GBN-GCN Cable, Colosseum & The Bonus Disk. A modded Wii A GameCube And GameCube Freeloader.

I Have 30 Shadow Pokemon Purified. I'd Happily Share My Save File With The World, But How exactly Do I Do That?
I Was Looking At Topic On A Forums Of How To Get A Shiny WISKMKR Jirachi Using An XBOO tool, But I Suck At Soldering.

(I Also Have The English Bonus Disk)
People Coming To These Forums To Download A Complete Pokemon Colosseum Save For A 100% Legit Celebi For Years To Come, Using my Save? That's Just Too Sweet To Pass Up A Chance Like That. I'll Do Whatever I Can.

You could use this homebrew program to backup your save to something you can connect to your computer, i presume it will let you save the save to your computer anyway! It works on both the Gamecube / Wii: GCMM - WiiBrew

InsaneNutterI still reallly want to help with this problem. I know it's been what 2 years since I last posted? I tried to post quite some time back but the site wouldn't let me because I posted some links. I have an SD card loader for the Gamecube but no way of being able to copy/move my save files. If you know some way I can I'll gladly help. I've caught and purified all 48 Shadow Pokemon. That was in March 2012. I should still have that save and if not can make A new one.

I tried to edit my post and kept getting this $*$*$*$'in message. "The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters."

:EDIT: I was able to backup my memory card using the program you linked to. Even better, I have to go purify the %&%*&$&'in shadow Pokemon again because my original Colosseum data got deleted. How? I did it on A spare mem card, I was wrongfully told you can't have English & Jap save data on the same card. When I got A Jap GameCube I switched the mem card over ( Why use A freeloader when you have A Jap GameCube right? ) It formatted my data.

I'll keep this thread bookmarked, I'll try to come back periodically to keep in touch and check for/post updates. Let me know if there's A way to subscribe to this thread, I cannot seem to find it.
