Here are display drivers for Notebooks with Nvidia Graphic cards.

Sadly Nvidia doesnt provide the latest display drivers for notebooks.
This modified install will let you install the latest drivers on your notebook.
These drivers might give you an performance boost in alot of games.

    Link: Release 177 drivers

Download and extract the desired driver. Then download the attached modded inf file and paste it in the folder where you extracted the driver and overwrite the original inf file. Then run Setup.exe

Its recommended you uninstall your previous display driver first.

    I personally use v177.83 Vista 32bit | NVIDIA

It’s very unlikely you will mess something up, I’m using hacked drivers for my laptops Mobility Radion X700 on Windows Vista X64. I can tell you now they work a 100 times better than the default Vista ones. As AMD won’t allow me to download any drivers for my laptop I have no choice but to use hacked ones for Vista.
I presume these Nvidia drivers will work as well as the ATI drivers I use.

If you really did somehow mess up keep pressing F8 as Windows is booting up, you will be presented with a recovery Menu, Select Safe mode and Windows will boot and allow you to remove the drivers.

If you have Windows 2000 or XP I believe the drivers should work with any Nvidia Card, have a read of this: ForceWare Updater's Quickstart Guide - nVision

Maybe chdcchris can explain in a bit more detail as he is the one who posted the drivers, I’m just going by what I have read on the website chdcchris linked to.

Ok I choose this one this time: v177.92 Vista 32bit | NVIDIA - nVision

I Extracted it then opened the file and opened Setup. But then it said there are no drivers that are for my system... My graphics card is in the list which is supported. Geforce 8600 GT.
