In this thread I, or anyone else who wants to, will review older DOS games, which aren't really big enough to devote a full thread to. If you decide to add a review, please add a link to where you can download the game you reviewed. If you want to add a game, please let me know in the DOS games discussion thread.
To discuss these or any other DOS game, please do so in this thread: DOS games discussion thread
All of these games can be run under DOSBox. If you are not familiar with how DOSBox works, please go to this thread for a guide on how to get it to work:

Duck Tales: The Quest for Gold
This game really consists of multiple smaller games. The goal of the game is to beat Goldglum in a competition to see who has the most gold so you go and travel around the world to collect treasures. You have 30 days to do this. When you go to the map screen you will be able to select a destination. Once you have done so you will have to fly a plane to the destination you have selected. Ofcourse the way to where you have to be is full of obstacles. If you crash along the way, a couple of days will be taken from you for repairs and sometimes you loose gold as well. When you get the your destination, you will have to play another game which differs from place to place. There's a picture taking game in which you have to take pictures of rare animals, a game in which you have to move through a maze-like cave, a game in which you have to climb a mountain and a game in which you have to manoeuvre through the jungle. If you succeed in this you will get to the treasure and you will be one step closer to beating Goldglum.
Epic Pinball
A great pinball game. There are a lot of tables to play. Among them isa Jill of the Jungle table, which is another game by Epic Megagames, who also did this pinball game. It's one of the better pinball games out there so if you're looking to play some pinball you should definitely get this one.
Fuzzy's World of Miniature Space GolfThis is a really enjoyable miniature golf game. You play by clicking on the ball and then dragging a line to show in which way you want the ball to roll and how hard you want it to go. The game is full of weird obstacles, which you'd expect from a miniature golf game. You will see stuff conveyor belts, worms and UFO's which will give you a hard time.
God of ThunderGod of Thunder can be compared with the Legend of Zelda. You play Thor who can throw his hammer to kill his enemies or to use switches. Through the course of the game you collect items and magic that will help you through the game. It's a really fun game and you will especially appreciate it if you like the Zelda games.
Highway HunterMost people have played those games in which you fly a plane that's flying up, while you have to shoot down enemy aircrafts that are flying down toward you. This game is similar to that, with the difference that you're not flying a plane this time. You're a car driving on the highway. You have to shoot everything that comes at you so you can destroy the boss at the end of each level. There's a lot of powerups lying around as well. There are a lot of upgrades for you weapon, to change it from a single laser to double laser to rockets, etc. If you like games like Raptor you should give this one a try.
Jill of the JungleMost of you probably know this game. You play the role of Jill, who has to make it through the levels my collecting keys and changing into animals, like a fish or a bird. Jill of the Jungle is a sidescrolling platform game. It's one of the more famous ones of it's time. If you haven't played this one yet you should do it now.
PushoverPushover is a puzzle game in which you play an ant. The goal of each level is to set up all the stones so that with one push they will all fall. Some stones will do different things, like fly up, close gaps or split in two. If you find the solution to how you can make all the pieces fall you can move on to the next puzzle. It's a very nice puzzle game but it does get hard after a while. It's a pretty long game as well, but there's a password system that let's you get back to the level you were playing.
Rollin
In this puzzle game you play a ball. You have to roll through an obstacle course and have to find the exit. To do this you have to collect gold and find shops where you can find items to help you, like keys or acid to destroy walls. If you make it past the enemies and all the puzzle you will find the exit hole which you have to roll into.
SkyroadsThis game is one of a kind. You play a little space ship which has to move and jump over an obstacle course. This might sound very easy but it's harder than it sounds, with the floors having certain effects on your ship. There are two versions of this game. The regular version, which has ten worlds with each three levels and there's a christmas version which also has ten worlds with each three levels. It will take a lot of skill to make it through all of them.
TeenagentTeenagent is an adventure game in which you play a boy who is hired to solve the mystery of gold disappearing from a bank. You start out at the training camp. After getting through there you get sent to a little village where your investigation starts and you have to break into a mansion. It's a very decent point & click adventure. It's not very long if you know what to do but it's entertaining nonetheless. If you're into adventure games you should definitely give this one a go.
Zool 2
This is a great sidescroller platform game. You play a green ninja who has to collect a certain amount of items in each level and the find the exit. You can easily tell the game was sponsored by Chupa Chups since the game is full of their logo. But that doesn't take really matter as this really is a very nice game. Definitely give this a try!

Gear Works
This is a very nice puzzle game. In every level there will be atleast one moving gear and one not moving. The goal is the make all the red gears turn. At first this is rather easy, but after a while there will be more gears you will have to get turning and a path you have to put your gears in. Every level consists of a monument. After finishing all the levels in a monument you get a small animation of that monument moving and you will continue on to the next level.

The Lost Vikings
Most of you probably know this game. You play three vikings, each with their own abilities. One of them can jump, one can use weapons and one has a shield. Using these abilities you have to get through each of the levels by working together. It's a sidecrolling platform game with some puzzle elements. There are a lot of levels and different worlds to get through so there's enough to keep you busy.
Download The Lost Vikings
Ugh!
This is a very simple game. You play a caveman who has a helicopter and you have to move other cavemen from cave to cave. After moving a certain number of cavemen around you will have finished the level. During the game there are dinosaurs that will try to stop you. A fun game to play for a minute when you're bored.

Contraption Zack
Contraption Zack is a puzzle game in which you need to collect tools to repair certain machines. You do this by pressing pressing switches to open doors and think hard about the next step you're going to make, because if you press a switch at the wrong time, you just might get stuck and have to start the level over. It's a really nice puzzle game though, so give it a try if you're looking for a challenge.
Download Contraption Zack
Home Alone
Who hasn't seen the movie? You play Kevin and you have an hour to set traps in your house to prevent the thiefs from catching you. Once an hour (in game time) has passed, the thiefs will enter the house. If you manage to hurt each of them ten times, you will win the game. If you know the right place to put each of the items the game is not too hard, not it's fun using each of the traps against the thiefs nonetheless.
Download Home Alone
Jetpack
In Jetpack you play a guy with a jetpack who has to fly around the level and collect all the gems from the plates. Once you have collected them all you have to go through the gate to go to the next level. The game comes with a level editor so you won't be bored quickly.

Lotus: The Ultimate Challenge
Lotus is a racing game, but it's one of the better one for DOS. It has some nice music and it's a really fun game to play once in a while. If you're looking for an old racing game, go for this one.
Download Lotus: The Ultimate Challenge
Stunts
Stunts is a racing game in which you can make your own racing tracks. This wouldn't be very interesting if it wasn't for the stunts you can put in the tracks, like loops and jumps. You can make your own stunt tracks and race on them. There's also an option to record your race so you can watch yourself racing on your own track. It's a great game for it's time. (Note: use stunt.exe to run the game, not stunts.exe)
Download Stunts
Supaplex
Everyone has probably played a game like this once. Dig through the level to collect a certain amount of an object and then find the exit. Supaplex is one of the best ones of those kind of games. There are a lot of levels to get through and they're not easy either. You'll have a hrd to time finish this game.
Download Supaplex
Trolls
Trolls is a sidecrolling platform game in which you play a toy troll. There are multiple worlds to get through in which you have to collect a certain amount of baby trolls. Once you have collected enough you have to find the pigstop to finish the level. You can find a yo-yo, which you can both use as a weapon and to swing from ceilings.

In 1990 one of the best known characters from the MS-DOS era came to life. Developed by id and published by Apogee, Tom Hall createdCommander Keen
Commander Keen, whose real name is Billy Blaze, created his own spaceship, called the bean-with-bacon megarocket. On a day Commander Keen is exploring Mars, when the Vorticons, the enemies in this trilogy, steal some of the parts from his ship. That's when the first game starts.
Invasion of the Vorticons
Commander Keen 1: Marooned on Mars
Marooned on Mars is the first game in the first Commander Keen trilogy. In this game, you have to collect the four parts of your ship that the Vorticons have stolen from you, to be able to leave Mars. At the start of the game you will also find a pogo stick, which will help you through the series. You walk around Mars, exploring Vorticon outposts, looking for keycards to open doors and the parts of your ship, which are guarded by the vorticons. Once you finally found all the parts you will be able to fly away from Mars, but as you fly back to earth, you spot something out in space...

Commander Keen 2: The Earth Explodes
While Commander Keen flies back home from Mars, he spots a Vorticon mothership flying above earth, preparing to destroy all the major cities. He sneaks on board to try and stop this from happening. There are eight ray cannons you need to stop, pointed on eight landmarks: the Big Ben, the Egyptian pyramids, the Sydney Opera House, the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel tower, the Colosseum, St Basil's Cathedral and the White House. All of the control rooms are heavily guarded by the Vorticons, so you will have a hard time disabling them all. When you finally manage to disable all of the cannons, the Vorticons return to their home planet, to report their failure to the Grand Intellect...

Commander Keen 3: Keen Must Die!
In the third and final game of this trilogy, Commander Keen lands on Vorticon VI, the home planet of the Vorticons. Here he travels from city to city, to find the Grand Intellect, the person who enslaved the Vorticons and ordered them to attack earth. When Commander Keen finally finds the Grand Intellect, he finds out it's his arch enemy Mortimer McMire. Mortimer sits inside a big robot called the Mangling Machine. Once Commander Keen destroys the machine, he liberates Vorticon VI and the Vorticons, who are actually a peaceful race, have been freed.

Commander Keen in Keen Dreams
Keen Dreams is a side story, created between the Invasion of the Vorticons and Goodbye Galaxy! storylines. In this game, Keen refuses to eat his vegetables and is sent to his room by his mother where he falls asleep. When he wakes up, he notices his bed is on top of a hill in a land he doesn't know. Two potatoes with rifles come up to him and tell him he was brought to this land by the Dream Machine. He is told to come with them to their king, Boobus Tuber, who is now his master. Keen grabs his gun and shoots them, leaving him without ammo. His mission is to destroy King Boobus Tuber to get to the Dream Machine and get back to his own world. This game is the only one in the series in which you don't have your pogo stick and your gun. For ammo, you will find seeds that you can throw at your enemies. This will turn them into flowers for a few seconds. All the enemies in the game are vegetables, like potatoes or carrots. You will have to search the land for Boobus Bombs, which are the only weapons that can kill King Boobus Tuber. Once you find twelve bombs, you have to head to his castle and face the king. After destroying him, Commander Keen turns off the Dream Machine and falls asleep again. When he wakes up he's back in his own room again.

A few months after freeing the Vorticons from Mortimer McMire, Commander Keen invents the Photachyon Transceiver. While trying the Transceiver, Commander Keen hears a strange transmission, saying the Shikadi are going to destroy the Milky Way in the name of Gannalech. This is where the next storyline in the Commander Keen series begin...
Goodbye Galaxy!
Commander Keen 4: Secret of the Oracle
Commander Keen flies off to Gnosticus IV to find the Gnosticenes and get information on who the Shikadi are and where to find them. Once he gets to the planet, he finds out the Shikadi got there before him and imprisoned the Gnosticenes. It's up to him to free them. You travel across the Shadowlands, searching for all the Council Members. You have your gun and your pogo stick to help you do this. This game is also the one where the Dopefish makes it's first appearance, a character which appears in a lot of other games as an easter egg. After finding all eight of the Council Members, Commander Keen travels to the Oracle. Here he finds out the Shikadi come from the planet Korath III and are building an Armageddon Machine to destroy the galaxy. Commander Keen rushes off to Korath III to put a stop to this.
Commander Keen 5: The Armageddon Machine
Commander Keen sneaks onto the Armageddon Machine, called the Omegamatic, which is in orbit around Korath III. His obvious mission is to destroy the machine and save the galaxy. To do this he must fight his way to the top of the machine. Once he gets there, he finally finds the core of the Omegamatic, the Quatum Explosion Dynamo. After finding a way to destroy it, Keen decides to look around a bit and finds a letter. He takes it home with him to decipher it. He heads back home and once again has saved the day.
Download Commander Keen 5: The Armageddon Machine
Commander Keen 6: Aliens Ate My Babysitter
Commander Keen 6 is the last Commander Keen game of the original series. It's not part of any storyline. In this game Keen's babysitter gets kidnapped by aliens called the Bloogs. He flies off to the planet Fribbulus Xax to free her.
Download Commander Keen 6: Aliens Ate My Babysitter
After freeing his babysitter, Commander Keen finds out about the real reason behind her kidnapping. She tells her Mortimer McMire plans to blow up the entire universe, which he could have known earlier if he had translated the note he found at the end of Commander Keen 5. This note also would explain how it was Mortimer McMire who ordered the Shikadi to destroy the Galaxy.
Unfortunately, at this point id lost interest in Commander Keen, as Wolfenstein 3D and Doom were a major succes. The original plans were for there to be a new trilogy, called The Universe is Toast, which would consist of Commander Keen 7 to 9. In this trilogy Commander Keen would face off against his nemesis Mortimer McMire and stop him from trying to destroy the universe.
In 2001 Activision released another Commander Keen game for the Gameboy Color. In this game the Omegamatic machine has been rebuilt and Keen needs to stop it once again, finding out it's once again Mortimer McMire who is behind all of this. The game is a lot harder than the PC games, and doesn't fit into the actual storyline.
Now, over 15 years after the release of the last real Commander Keen game, the question is if we will ever find out what happened to the universe. If it's up to Tom Hall, the man who designed Commander Keen, the storyline will continue. The only problem is that id refuses to release the rights. At the end of Commander Keen 6 we were promised the biggest Keen ever. Let's hope some day we will finally get to see what became of Billy Blaze.

In the late 1980's Codemasters started a series of games staring a walking egg. Through the years there have been a bunch of games staring this egg, some for DOS as well. These games are mostly adventure games in which you play this walking egg called
Dizzy
Not all of the Dizzy games have been created for the PC. Most of them were created for the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum. I'll be covering the PC games.
Fantasy World Dizzy
Fantasy World Dizzy is Dizzy's third adventure. This is the game the introduced the Yolkfolk, which are other eggs with which you can interact. The goal of this game is to find Daisy. You do this by picking up items and using them at certain points to progress through the game. For example of the start of the game you're in a dungeon with a loaf of bread and a jug of water in front of you. So you pick up the water and use it on the fireplace to be able to escape. There are a lot of creatures in this game, like dragons and birds. You also have to collect all the coins in the game along with saving Daisy to finish the game.
Magicland Dizzy
This is the fourth game in the Dizzy series. In this game the land has been corrupted by an evil wizard and Dizzy has to set it right. The graphics have significantly improved since the last game. The gameplay is exactly the same though. You pick up objects, with a maximum of three, and use these at certain points. In every Dizzy game along with getting to the end there's also a certain object you have to collect. In this game these are gems. You will again see a lot of things, like a stone henge, a huge castle and a troll stoping you from crossing a bridge.
Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk
Skipping the fifth game, the sixth game in the series was once again released for the PC. In this game again, the goal is to save Daisy who is asleep for 100 years and it's up to you to wake her up. The items you have to collect in this game are cherries. This game is shorter than the other Dizzy games if you look at the number of screens. Still it's a really enjoyable game to play in which you once again meet a bridge troll along with other characters to help out. You'll even end up in heaven at one point in the game.
The Fantastic Adventure of Dizzy
Once again skipping a game, this is the eighth and final game in the series. It's considerably larger than the other Dizzy games. The world to explore is huge and also the items to collect, which are stars in this game, has increased. In the other games you would only have to collect about 25 items, in this game you have to collect 250 stars. The goal of the game is to once again save Daisy from the evil wizard Zaks. This game also has some minigames in it, like getting a minecart to the end of the track safely, or doing a sliding block puzzle. This game is a real challenge since you can't save the game so you'll need some time on your hands to finish it, especially when you don't know where to go or what to do. That being said, it's a beautiful game and a lot of fun to play through.
Along with the main series there were also some spin-offs. Games staring Dizzy but not adventure games.
Fast Food Dizzy
This is basically just Pac-Man staring Dizzy. You move through a maze and collect food. There are 30 levels in total. Like in Pac-Man there are enemies to avoid while doing this.
Kwik Snax
Kwik Snax is a more original game. It's a puzzle game in which you play Dizzy and you have to rescue four of your friends in four different worlds. You do this by walking on a grid and collecting food on it. You have to collect all the food before the time runs out. Some of the blocks on the field can be pushed aside to make it easier for you. There are enemies which will temporarily stun you when you touch them. When you have collected all the pieces of food you move on to the next level.
Bubble Dizzy
In Bubble Dizzy you start on the bottom of the ocean and you have to guide Dizzy up again by jumping from bubble to bubble. You have to do this before you run out of oxygen. Ofcourse there are fish that will make it harder on you. This game is also one of the minigames found in The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy.
Seymour Goes to Hollywood
Another adventure game by Codemasters staring an egg, but not Dizzy this time. You play an egg called Seymour who has to go through Hollywood to make his own movie. The game itself plays the same as the original Dizzy games. You can pick up three items at once and you have to use them at specific places to move on in the game. Even though the game doesn't play in the Dizzy universe, it's still fun to play if you like the original games since the gameplay are identical.

Alien Carnage
In Alien Carnage you play the role of Harry. The goal of the game is to rescue all the hostages in the level from the aliens and then get to the exit. You have your flamethrower and jetpack to help you do this. You have to be careful you don't run out of fuel though. There are recharge points where you can refill your fuel. There are also other points at which you can buy ammo for different weapons.
Bio Menace
Another nice platform game. You go around killing aliens with your gun and grenades. From time to time you will run into hostages who will give you keycards to progress through the level. You might even run into Commander Keen who makes a cameo as a hostage in one of the levels. There are a lot of bosses to keep you entertained throughout the game. It's a very decent platform game if you're looking for one.
Download Bio Menace
Note: if you want to play this game on DOSBox, be sure to run Biopatch.exe before running the game, otherwise you won't be able to play it.
Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure
Another platformer by Apogee. In this one you play a little alien called Cosmo who got lost on a planet after landing there with his parents. It'up to you to guide him back to his parents again. You can jump on enemies to kill them or use bombs which you can find through the levels. You can also hang on walls, which you will do quite a lot to progress through the levels.
Duke Nukem
This is the game that started the whole Duke Nukem franchise. At first the game was called Duke Nukum as there was another character called Duke Nukem in Captain Planet, but since there was no copyright on this character they renamed it back to Duke Nukem. You play as Duke and have to stop Doctor Proton. You do this by collecting keys, keycards and other objects to help you go through the levels. Another nice DOS platformer.
Extreme Pinball
Extreme Pinball is one of the sequels Epic Megagames made to Epic Pinball. It doesn't have as many tables as Epic Pinball does but they are more entertaining. If you like pinball and want to go for quality over quantity, be sure to play this one as you won't be disappointed.
Hocus Pocus
Another platform game! In this one you play a wizard apprentice. You have to go through the levels collecting all the crystals. You can shoot lightning bolts to defend you from the enemies walking around. The game has some great music and also a lovely atmosphere. If you haven't yet, play it now!
Jazz Jackrabbit
Who hasn't played this one? A very popular platform game in which you play a green rabbit. Devan Shell has kidnapped your girlfriend and it's up to you to save her. You do this by travelling from planet to planet and kill all the turtles and lizards that stand in your way. The game is very large with a lot of levels to play through so you won't get bored quickly. It has some levely music to go along with it all. Get it! Now!
Monster Bash
In Monster Bash you play a boy in his pyjamas who has to find his dog. The game is set in a haunted setting, with graveyards and haunted houses. You will battle off walking hands, werewolves and frankensteins with your catapult. Through every level you have to search for all the caged animals and rescue them by shooting the locks on their cages. After doing this you have to find the exit to progress to the next level.
Secret Agent
One of the earlier platform games by Apogee. In it you play a secret agent and you walk on a map on which you can choose the level you want to play. After getting into a level you have to destroy the radar and get some dynamite to blow the exit open. At some levels you will also have to find a floppy and use it on a computer to turn lasers off or find some glasses to see invisible platforms. It's a very basic platform game but fun to play anyway.
Vinyl Goddess From Mars
This game was actually supposed to be the sequel to Jill of the Jungle. But at the point it was being developed Jazz Jackrabbit was also being created and Epic went with that instead of Jill of the Jungle 2. So another company took over and this is the result. It's a very basic platformer, you play a girl in the jungle who has to find the exit in each level. Nothing fancy but if you liked Jill of the Jungle, you should give this one a try as well.

Crystal Caves
This platform game has a very simply concept. You play this little miner who goes from level to level and collects crystals. You have to collect every crystal in a level and then make it to the exit alive. After clearing all the mines you will have finished the game. It's nothing fancy with big bosses or whatever, just very simply jump and shoot stuff.
Download Crystal Caves
Dangerous Dave
Most people have probably played this game when they were younger. You play a guy called Dave who has to go through ten levels, find the chalice and then get to the exit. This sounds very easy but it's harder than it sounds. There are enough enemies to keep you from finishing the levels. There are various items to help you, like a gun and a jetpack. You have to watch out you don't run out of jetpack fuel though. If you do, you might not be able to finish the level anymore.
Download Dangerous Dave
Dangerous Dave 2: Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion
Since I just told you about the first, most popular Dangerous Dave, why not cover them all in one go? This is the second Dangerous Dave game out of four. This one has improved a lot over the first game. The graphics look better and the gameplay has advanced as well. This time you actually regularly kill enemies and even bossed. Try to make it through the house and get to the final boss. Just another random platform game. The only difference from most platform games though, is that you can't run out of ammo. Instead when your gun is empty you need to stand still and Dave will automatically reload his gun.
Download Dangerous Dave 2: Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion
Dangerous Dave 3: Dave's Risky Rescue
Another Dangerous Dave game. This one is more like the second one. There are some differences though. Instead of reloading your gun when you stand still, this game has ammo you need to pick up through the levels. Most of the game is basically the same though. Just another episode in the Dangerous Dave saga.
Download Dangerous Dave 3: Dave's Risky Rescue
Dangerous Dave 4: Dave Goes Nutz
The last Dangerous Dave game. As the title suggests, in this game Dave goes through an asylum. Apart from that the game is basically the same as Dangerous Dave 3. Go from level to level, shoot zombies and make it to the end of the game. If you liked Dangerous Dave 2 and 3, check it out.
Download Dangerous Dave 4: Dave Goes Nutz
Duke Nukem 2
The second game in Duke Nukem's life. Another platformer just like the first one. It's mostly the same as the first Duke Nukem game. Go from level to level and find the exit. To do so you pick up various items like keys and keycards to get to the exit. There are different weapons to pick up this time. You have a basic weapon which doesn't run out of ammo, the other weapons do. Another great platform game by Apogee. One of the better ones out there for PC.
Download Duke Nukem 2
Raptor: Call of the Shadows
The best game in it's genre out for PC. You're a plane which flies up all the time and you have to shoot down all the other planes coming your way. There are a lot of bosses to take down as well. After each level you can buy new weapons and upgrades for your plane to help you through the harder levels. You can control the plane with your mouse which makes the game very easy to play.
Download Raptor: Call of the Shadows
Wacky Wheels
Wacky Wheels is for PC what Mario Kart was for the SNES. You take control of one of the animals riding a kart and you try to finish first. Just a basic racing game. It's good fun if you're not into the serious racers and just want to drive some laps for fun. You can pick up weapons like bombs or fireballs to use against your enemy, or hedgehogs, which you can also shoot at your enemies.

Blackthorne
This platform game is not like most others. It has more adventure elements than most do. You're a man with a shotgun who has to make his way through the levels by killing orcs and blowing up walls. The fights are not as easy as in most platform games either. By pressing up you can hide against the wall so the enemy can't hit you. The enemy will do the same. You have to look for the right moment to come out and shoot them. During the game you pick up items like grenades and keycards to help you go on. There are also other people to interact with. If you're looking for a platform/adventure game, this is what you want.
Download Blackthorne
Dig It!
Another platform game. You have to go through various caves and kill dinosaurs. By shooting at them the will slowly inflate untill they pop. You also have a drill which you have to use on crosses in the ground to progress through the levels. There are also smaller, harder to find cracks on the ground on which you can use the drill which usually lead to bonus areas.
Download Dig It!
Electro Man
In this platform game you play a guy that looks a lot like Robocop. When the game starts you start off with no ammo, you can pick up batteries to upgrade your weapon though. After a while you will get to a checkpoint, by touching it you will loose all of your ammo again. The goal of each level is to find three cards and then get to the exit. You can save the game by pressing F2 and then load by pressing F3 on the title screen. Just another one of the many platform games for DOS.
Download Electro Man
Goblins 3
Goblins 3 is an adventure game by Sierra. You play Blount who early in the game falls in love. The girl gets kidnapped though and so it's up to you to save her. The game has a lot of humorous parts. You get help through some levels from other characters with different abilities. You can click on them to switch to them. Later on in the game you also turn into a werewolf. It's a very fun adventure game and very easy to control.
Download Goblins 3
Gods
This platform game has also been released on some other systems. You play the role of Hercules who wants to achieve immortality by completing a task the Gods gave him. The game has an ancient Greece setting and the suroundings really look like a Greek temple. You pick up keys and pull switches to open doors and progress through the levels. It's not an easy game but the graphics are great so you'll have something to look at when you try again and again.
Download Gods
One Must Fall 2097
This is one of the best if not the best fighting game for DOS. It's made by Epic Megagames which usually meant it was good. First you select a character you want to be and then you pick a robot to fight with. You control the robot in the game and us it to beat up the other robot. All the robots look different and have their own abilities. If you're looking for an old fighter, this is a very good pick.

The Even More Incredible Machine
This is a great game, especially for it's time. It's a puzzle game in which you need to finish an objective and that objective can be anything. The best part about this game is probably that you can make your own machine. There are a lot of parts you can use, like balls, walls, animals, etc. This game really is a lot of fun, to solve the puzzles or to make your own machine.

Transport Tycoon
Most of you have probably played Rollercoaster Tycoon before, which was a very popular game a couple of years ago. Before Rollercoaster Tycoon there was Transport Tycoon. There is not goal in the game other than be the best company. You connect cities and industries to ship things and make money that way. As time progresses you get newer vehicles to use. For example, in the beginning you will have to use trains running on steam, later on in the game you can use trains that run on electricity. It's a really fun game you can pick up now and then and just play for a few minutes, especially since there is not goal at all and you can just keep on playing.

Tyrian 2000
Apogee had Raptor, Epic Megagames had Tyrian 2000. You control a plane that flies up and have to shoot everything down that comes your way. As you progress through the game you get upgrades for your ship which make it easier on you. This game looks really good and it's one of the best in it's genre out for PC. If you like Raptor, you should give this a try.

Beneath a Steel Sky
This adventure is about a guy who grew up in a village, outside the city, which in this game is a big industrial place. On a certain day you get taken to that city and it's up to you to find out why they took you and to escape. The graphics of the game have a comic book feel to them. The game is somewhat more serious, with bodies getting ripped apart and the grim look of the city. Still, it's a really nice adventure with a very nice story.

Day of the Tentacle
Day of the Tentacle is one of the better known adventures. It's the sequel to the game Maniac Mansion, which you can also play on a computer in the game. In this game, you play three people at once. All of them are in another timezone, the past the present and the past. You have to switch between characters and send items between characters to progress through the game. It's a nice game, but it might get a little hard since you don't know which item you will need in which timezone sometime. Still, it's worth a play.

Lure of the Temptress
This is an older adventure game. A small town is being rules by an evil sorceress and it's up to you to free it. The scenery looks pretty nice, even though the game is pretty old. In this game you also have a servant you can order around, which is very nicely done. You can give him items and send him all across the game to do things for you. The game is not that long, but still nice to play.

The Secret of Monkey Island
This is the first Monkey Island game in the series. In this one you have to help Guybrush Threepwood become a pirate. After becoming one you go to Monkey Island to defeat the ghost pirate LeChuck. The game has some really humorous moments and it's cool to see how the story started off.

Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge
The second game in the Monkey Island series. You once again play Guybrush Threepwood, who this time is looking for the treasure of Big Whoop. Early on in the game you get robbed by another pirate. After getting back at him he revives LeChuck and once again it's up to you to beat him. This game is considerably harder than the first game, with three islands you can visit at once, it's not very obvious where to go and what to do. Still, it's a very nice game with, once again, some great humour and very nice graphics.

Sam & Max Hit the Road
This game got some episodic sequels not too long ago. You play a dog detective, who has a rabbit as his sidekick. As you can guess, this game has some very funny moments. You go from place to place to solve a crime and see some weird things along the way. It's really nice adventure that's definitely worth checking out.

Simon the Sorcerer
In this adventure you play the role of Simon. He finds a book in the attic which opens a portal to another dimension. After going in, he finds out the evil wizard Sordid has taken the wizard Calypso and it's you to rescue him. This game has some really nice scenery. Some forest scenes really look beautiful. The problem with that though, is that some puzzles really become pixel hunting. For example finding a rock in a scene, if you don't know you need to find it can be really hard, especially since there are a lot of scenes in which there's nothing you can do. Still, it's a beautiful game. You should download this, just for the scenery alone.

Simon the Sorcerer II: The Lion, the Wizard and the Wardrobe
The sequel to the first Simon the Sorcerer game. Sordid has been revived and wants his revenge, so he gets Simon back to his dimension. This game has some really funny scenes, since Simon has become a lot ruder since the last game. The graphics still look gorgeous. If you liked the first game, you'll like this as well. It's simply a great game.

The Legend of Kyrandia: Book One
The first game in the Kyrandia trilogy. In this game you play the role of Brandon, who has to stop the evil jester Malcolm, who has killed the king and queen and taken the kyragem, giving him great powers. He's turning the mystics into stone so they can't stop him and so it's up to Brandon to stop him from ruling Kyrandia. Playing the game is very easy, since all you need to do is click. Just click on an item to pick it up and click an item on an object to use it. The voice of Brandon was done by Kane from the Command & Conquer series, since the game was done by Westwood studios, who also did the first Command & Conquer games. It's a really nice game with very nice music.

The Legend of Kyrandia: Book Two - The Hand of Fate
In the second game in the Kyrandia trilogy you play the role of Zanthia, a mystic who helped you out in the first game. Kyrandia is disappearing and it's up to you to find a magic anchor stone at the center of the world to save the land, but when you get home to make a portal potion to go there, you find your equipment has been stolen and you have to find another way to get there. Another great game with very nice music and scenery. It's one of the few games in which you play a girl. You can make potions my throwing items in a pot to help you through the game. If you liked the first game, you should play this as well.
Download The Legend of Kyrandia: Book Two - The Hand of Fate
The Legend of Kyrandia: Book Three - Malcolm's Revenge
After beating him in the first game, it's time to see Malcolm's side of the story. After being turned to stone at the end of the first game, you get struck by thunder and you're free again, seeking your revenge. The puzzle in this game can be solved in multiple ways. At first you need to get off of Kyrandia which can be done by getting on a boat, using a portal potion, being taken there on a prison boat and some other ways. In that sence the game is very open. You can adjust Malcolm's behaviour to the situation, changing it from normal to nice and lying. It's really cool to play the bad guy once in a while.

Aladdin
This is a platform game of the well known Disney cartoon. You play as Aladdin who has to make his way through the story of the cartoon: find the lamp and fight Jafar in the end. You do this by throwing apples at your enemies or by attacking them with your sword. It's a very nice platform game so give it a try.
Cannon Fodder
In Cannon Fodder you control a small group of soldiers which have to complete a certain objective, which mostly is just to kill everyone in the level. You do this by clicking on the map where you want to move your men and then by clicking the right mouse button you can shoot at the other soldiers. Later you also get missiles and grenades to help you out. It's a very cool strategy game.
Cool Spot
Just another random platform game. You play Spot, a red circle you has to collect other red circles and rescue his friends. You do this like you do in every other platform game, by jumping and shooting. If you like these games be sure to try it out.
The Lion King
A game of the Disney cartoon. You start the game of playing young Simba. After going through some levels you turn into an adult and you get some new moves, like swiping at your enemies. It's a platform game which isn't very easy since there is no way to save your game so you'll have to start over from the beginning when you're game over. Still it's a very cool game, even for people who don't know the cartoon.
Micro Machines 2
Micro Machines 2 is a racing game in which you control miniature cars. You see the cars from up top and you control them over desks, work places, kitchen tables, etc. If you don't like normal racing games you might still like this.
Outrun
This is a very well known racing game by Sega. You drive a Ferrari with your girlfriend next to you, and you have to make it to the finish before time runs out. After each stage you get a checkpoint and extra time and you get to choose to go left or right, both leading to another landscape. It's a fairly easy racing game but still very fun to play.
Overkill
Overkill is a very basic shooting game, not as fancy as games like Raptor or Tyrian. You fly a ship and have to kill the enemies coming toward you. The game was done by Epic Megagame, which also did Tyrian. Give it a try if you like these games.
Paperboy 2
Who hasn't heard of this game? It was a big hit on the old NES. Paperboy 2 is simply Paperboy with better graphics. You drive a bike and have to throw papers into mailboxes. While doing this you have to avoid obstacles and go over ramps to collect more papers. It's a very fun game to play now and then.
Prince of Persia
Prince of Persia is a very well known game. The series are still running with a new game coming up soon. This is the game that started it all. You play the prince who was thrown into the dungeon. You have to find your way out, to kill Jafar and free the princess. It's a platform game with a lot of running and jumping.
Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame
This is the sequel to the first Prince of Persia game. One day you walk into the castle, seeing there's someone looking like you sitting next to the princess. He orders the guards to capture you, but you jump out the window and this is where the game starts. You have o make your way over the rooftops, again by running and jumping, and make it aboard a ship to make it to an island on which your new adventure starts.
