Thread: Left 4 Dead Demo [Exclusive Early Download]

Okay I have two questions about this demo...

1. is it compatible with Vista like the game is?

2. whenever I start it... I can get to the menu screen just fine but a window pops up and says something about "Steam", but there's no option to close that window... and I can't click around it... Any suggestions?

P.S. could the answer to number two be because the computer does not meet graphics requirements??

how do i install left 4 dead any ways it says "after you've installed left 4 dead demo rune *bat*") but how do i even install it any ways??

I downloaded the demo but all it says is to uninstall it what should I do?

Open my computer. Go to program files and in there you'll see left for dead.

I have the same problem and sogrurr;5769! I turn game on and its pitch black, but mouse cursor is still there, and music is playing? Can someone plz help?

When I tried to download it in Transmission it said it had no peers and wouldn't download.

i dont get the hamachi thingy. i used the Logmein hamachi. i really want to play with friends online. what should i do?

i downloaded the game (not torrent) and it gave me an error it said it couldent run im on a xp pc and for some reason it just wont work please help!

Demo starts.. Intros are coming just fine but then in when it should be in menu and those zombies on the background I cant click or just do anything? Please somebody who solved this or just knows how to fix this little help?

never mind. i started it again and it workd but now i have an other problem.
if i go to campain and i click on start my game dissappears
please help
