Sonic Fan Remix is a Sonic fan game as you might guess, Its mechanics and physics are built on the original Mega Drive/Genesis classics, and are accompanied by an intriguing art style.

The world is a reimagining of Sonic 2's Emerald Hill Zone, with some amazing new ideas including a torrential storm and a moody night.

I saw this on another forum and downloaded it. it's rather good. feels just like a sonic game and the graphics are really top notch.

However, on my system (win 7, 2 gigs ram, ahtlon64x2 4400, ati radeon hd4650) it was a tad jumpy at parts

edit: Duh, i had the graphics pumped up to max. I also noticed if you choose a lower visual quality there's less on screen elements while still looking fantastic. Nice tip if you think the default game is too busy

Holy MOMMA! That's one game to test my graphics card to the max! Love the robotnik droid in the background!

Its working great on my system with the highest detail setting @ 1680x1050.

    Specs: Windows 7 x64, Core2Duo E4500 @ 2.93ghz, 4gigs of ram, Geforce 8800GT.

It really does look a lot nicer than Sonic 4, one of the best fan games I have ever seen. I think i've completed it 6 or 7 times now easily.

How do I start the game? (which button on the keyboard?) And where can I define the key layouts??

EDIT: Never mind, got it figured out! Wow, even on a slow pc it runs fairly good...
