Jazz Jackrabbit 2 - MAC OS / OS X

This is a port done by Logicware of the PC Game Jazz Jackrabbit 2. Include are two versions, the classic version for Mac OS and an updated version for Mac OS X which supports both Intel and PowerPC Mac's.

For Mac users not fimilar with .rar files can use UnRarX 2.2 to decompress the file.

This version of Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is unsupported as the devoloper went bust. It its current form you can play single player, multiplayer including internet play and also play levels created by PC users.

Limitations compared to PC version:

• Only Full Screen Mode is supported.
• Does not have a version of Jazz Creation Station which is used to create custom levels.
• Not updated to support Expansion packs like Secret Files which limits the online servers you can play in.

However there is a solution to these problems for people with an Intel Mac.

• Experienced users can download and install Wine and run any of the Windows versions flawlessly on their Intel Mac's.
• Less experienced users can download and purchase (or go to other sources) CrossOver Games for Mac. Jazz Jackrabbit 2, The Secret Files, Jazz Creation Station all work flawlessly with the latest version of CrossOver Games (v7). Screenshot attached.
