    Hi InsaneNutter,

I'm new to the 3DS scene so I'm hoping you or someone else can help me. I've read that CIAs have no headers so can go online, is this correct? Do you know of anyone that has been banned running CIAs online? It seems that when people inject the same public header into their ROMs as other people it's pretty easy for them to be identified and banned. Based on this information, it should be practically impossible to get banned running CIAs.Thoughts?

    Thanks.

No one really knows enough to say at this point, you are probably safer, however if you really do not want to get banned the best thing to do is only use original cartridges online.

The 3Ds has only recently been hacked wide open, so it could be a good few months yet before we see how Nintendo handles everything.
