Use this 500GB security sector with HDDHackr 1.40 to hack a 2.5” 500gb SATA hard drive to work in the Xbox 360. A big thanks to Digiex member TalonII for dumping the 500gb security sector from his 500GB drive.

    How to use:

Use the following tutorial: How to hack a 250gb, 320gb or 500gb sata drive to work in the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim

Party Buffalo Drive Explorer can be used to copy content from your pc to your new 500GB drive

    Download:

Seeing as you can also partition hard drives, will a 1TB hard drive partitioned into two 500GB sectors work?
I am just inquiring about this because upon looking at this tutorial you can see that a non-modded console can have a HDD with two 320GB sectors.

On a 1TB drive you can only use 500gb of space. Only a Jtag or RGH hacked console can use a hard drive larger than 500gb.

hi, is it possible to copy this to my xbox hdd from the xbox itself like with dosbox or linux? i have a genuine xbox hdd which i accidentally erased the system partitions, i dont have a way to connect it to a pc, is it possible to copy this files from inside the xbox? with usb or dosbox or with linux livecd? i have a dual nand so i have a regular xbox stock nand and a RGH one, maybe i can copy it through the RGH in the Freestyle dash? because the RGH for some reasone does still detect the hdd and it works there fine, its just in the xbox stock nand that its not recognized, is it possible to copy this from the xbox itself? thanks in advance!

Unfortunately that is not possible, only Western Digital hard drive's have ever been hacked using a PC.
