NVIDIA and ATI BETA Display/Physx Drivers (Check back daily for updates)

These are beta drivers, I have them on my PC and they seem to be working fine.

The GeForce 177.92 beta driver for the 32bit version of Windows Vista is bundled with the v8.08.18 PhysX software, comes with support for the GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9 (including the 9500 GT and 9400 GT) and GTX 200 series cards and it features:

- Support for 2-way and 3-way SLI technology with GeForce GTX 200-series GPUs on Intel D5400XS motherboards
- Support for single GPU and SLI technology on DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and OpenGL, including 3-way and Quad SLI technology
- CUDA support
- Support for Nvidia GeForce 3D Stereo Technology
- Support for the Folding@home distributing computing application
- Support for GPU overclocking and temperature monitoring by installing Nvidia System Tools software
- Several 3D application performance improvements. The following are examples of improvements measured with v177.92 WHQL versus v175.19 WHQL driver:
Single GPU increases up to 11% in 3DMark Vantage (performance preset)
Single GPU increases up to 11% in Assassin's Creed DX10
Single GPU increases up to 15% in Bioshock DX10
Single GPU increases up to 15% in Call of Duty 4
Single GPU increases up to 8% in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
2-way SLI increases up to 7% in Bioshock DX10
2-way SLI increases up to 10% in Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts DX10
2-way SLI increases up to 12% in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
2-way SLI increases up to 10% in World in Conflict DX10
- Numerous 3D application compatibility fixes

The Catalyst 8.8 driver for the 64bit version of Windows Vista comes with support for practically every card from the Radeon 9500 up, including the latest HD 4800 series models and offers:

New Avivo video features

- Dynamic Gamma/Contrast correction, available on the ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series, improves video image quality by delivering more vivid color in content with sharp contrasts and scenes with low and bright images.
- Improved video presets, available for the ATI Radeon HD 3000 and ATI Radeon 4800 Series, delivers a newly optimized video presets that users can select depending on what kind of video content they are viewing.
- Windows XP support: Edge enhancement, which adjusts the level of sharpness of video content and Noise Reduction, which removes ghosting artifacts while preserving details of the original video. Hybrid Graphics Support for Windows XP

- Hybrid Graphics delivers a significant 3D performance boost for systems featuring an AMD 780G/780D integrated graphics motherboard and an ATI Radeon HD 3400 Series or ATI Radeon HD 2400 Series graphics accelerator. It also provides support for up to four independent displays.

There are no performance updates listed but the driver does fix issues with games like Assassin's Creed, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Enemy Territory Quake Wars, Call of Duty 4, Crysis, Lost Planet and others.

sorry, my english isn't this good. i dont understand it. does , for exampel, the nvidia geforce 9600 gt support this driver?
it has more than 256 mb but, is that the only thing that's necesariy?

Yes, it does support 177.83. Just download and install. You should then have a nvidia physx control panel in control panel...just click on it and select gpu physx. Then it should be working!

What Operating system are you using? Which one are you trying to use?

Try downloading this one 177.98 for 32Bit. Extract the files, then run setup.exe as an admin by right clicking on it. GeForce 177.98 beta WinVista 32bit
