I dont know if this is relavent. But I had a copy from fileplant installed on my vista 1.0

I activated but then vista broke. I reinstalled xp and just clicked the exe in the main folder it launched without a problem. So in my view I dont think it needs the registry.

Im trying to get my RA3 BETA working...
-edit: Nope, I still need a activation-serialkey, but I guess that it's impossible to get it working.

Maybe someone could upload his complete RA3 (WORKING) folder, just rar it, and upload it somewhere.

Red Alert 3 is now out and cracked, meaning the activation has been cracked. This could mean that the crack be used with the beta version and if anyone is still interested in the Beta for whatever reason (I know some people collect betas) it might be interesting for them to post up how to crack it so it can be played.

In the mean time there is a Poll which everyones feedback would be very much welcomed on, its about whenever or not you intend to buy the game with the DRM in it?

In the mean time, what an adventure, almost 1,000 replies and over 400,000 views. It's a shame with all these people helping out and high interest, a crack was never released in time. We hope those of you all spent the time signing up may continue to visit, you are always welcome elsewhere on this forum (there is content outside this thread

Available for download this Monday, November 24th at GameSpot.com for the PC, the demo includes the game’s cinematic opening, three tutorials and two full campaign missions. * Krasna-45: Circus of Treachery – The second mission of the Soviet campaign, players will immediately be introduced to battling the series’ newest faction, the Empire of the Rising Sun, escorting the Soviet’s commando Natasha to a launch facility, protecting her from the Imperial ambush division waiting to attack.
* Heidelberg: The Famous Liberation – Players will then switch their attention over to the Allied cause, in the third mission in the Allied campaign, teaming up with an in-game Co-Commander to take out the Soviet’s powerful Iron Curtain and headquarters in Germany.

The demo gives gamers a great opportunity to try out Red Alert 3 before the game’s first major patch is released later this year.
