    Question Profile Saves

I accidently erased the file case containing the profile data, but I still got my old saves. Is there any way to migrate the saves in order to make them work? I lost a lot of data (I had completed the solo tour in Rock Band, almost 45 hours on Blue Dragon, 3 managers on Fifa 09, and a lot more. I had almost 3500 G on achievements)

(Finally found a way to connect my 360 to Xbox Live!!)

What do you mean? Are you trying to get the game saves to work on another profile?

Yes, in the Content folder you have other folders which contain the saves for your other profiles

Workout the folder ID of your new profile, then dump the saves from your older profile in to the folder that contains your new profile.

You worn't get all the achievements back but your saves should still work.

I change the name of the profile ID to match the old one, is that what you mean?

InsaneNutter, I tried what you said, but only PGR3 recognized the save and loaded it. DMC4 says you're not allowed to use other profile saves. The other games all tell me the save games are corrupt and can't load....

You have to modify the gamesave in order for it to work on the new profile. So you would have to load the file on something like Modio (sorry can't think of any other programs that would do the same). Load the save and then a profile ID should be there. So say your old profile is 000 and the new one is 001, then you would change the profile from 000 to 001 (Example). Then after that you need to re-hash and resign, I think Modio can but if not then download the Hash Block Calculator. Back up your gamesaves in case you were to mess up in any way.

If you ever do what Dark Scyth suggests read this old thread here, it covers resigning / rehashing saves too.
