I can confirm you can play multiplayer with 2 wireless Xbox 360 Controllers, im not really big on fighting games like street fighter and mortal kombat but it seems a pretty decent port. We were able to max it out no problems on an Geforce 8800.
The long delays and waits are almost over, Street Fighter 4 for PC is being release in the UK any day now and is already available online. The PC version is going to be able to play with other PCs over live as well as xbox 360s(confirmed myself, the xbox live settings include a crossplatform option).
The game includes a controller mapper that lets you use the keyboard or any standard controller, you assign the buttons on the pad to the various functions of an xbox 360 pad and then the controls are configurable in the game also, swapping around the xbox 360 functions. Quick warning though, people may want to to buy two of the same kind of pad if they want to multiplayer on one machine, as the controller mapper maps the same buttons to every player, this may be overcome using xbox 360 controllers, but I haven't been able to test.
Same, I've got the same graphics card, my retail copy came out today, I'll be fully confirming whether you can play xbox players.
Well, there's a hidden option for cross platform support, but once enabled, you can't sign onto live. And otherwise there's no cross platform compatibility.
I'm wondering if I should get it, I'm not a big fan of fighting games and probably won't play online, but I liked SF2 in the past..
Its okay. I can pick it up for 360 at around $30, at that price its worth it. Pending on the price, if its full retail I wouldn't get it but if you can get it at half price (you'll have to wait some time), then I would say it was a good deal and worth it. One thing I hate about it, the bosses seem be basically block 80% of attacks and they use repetitive moves every time they get the chance.
i cant wait for this game to release on pc.
It actually has by now.
I used to play fighting games like MK or SF but not anymore.
The first I have played SF was on a TV console an old one.
waiting long time, where's download add.
