Hey guys I live in New Zealand and im want to get myself a laptop in the next week or two,but my knowledge op pc components, the newest hardware etc, has significantly fallen over the years.

My budget is about 480 pounds. What laptops should I be looking at to get the best bang for my buck?

    Regards

I'd avoid DSE if I were you, they can be a little over priced.

If you can find a corner comp shop you'd be better off in getting a good price. Also look at the Asus laptops, not necessarily the eeeeeeePC, but one of their normal note books. With around NZ$1200 you should be able to find a decent little book.
