    Hey there,

Recently just installed windows 7 on my NC10 netbook, and of course the multi touch function has stopped working, as well as all the Samsung programs being deleted, so I downloaded some of them from the Samsung website, however the Samsung update program doesnt seem to want to download updates, brilliant. Therefore im left needing the touchpad drivers, however the Synaptics website doesn't have the driver that Samsung update is telling me to download, version 14.0.5.1. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and could help me out?

    Cheers

I sorta had that problem. A few days later Windows 7 said there were optional updates and one of them was the Synaptics Touchpad Drivers. So you may want to look through the mandatory and optional updates. Though i'm using a Toshiba laptop.

I had a problem a lot like this. Where Windows 7 installed non-functional drivers during an update, so I had to force a rollback and tell it to never search for those drivers online again.

I used the default drivers in Windows 7, I found multi-touch the NC10's small trackpad hard to use in the first place.

However, if you enter the details on that Samsung UK website you can get the drivers, use the Vista ones and they work fine.
