I have a USB External harddrive and it was formated in NTFS as its default i then went on youtube cos i wanted to make a bootable usb drive so i followed the steps on youtube and did it all to the format part where you need to format it to fs=fat32. It got half way then crashed so i restarted my computer and now the pc finds the HDD but it doesnt come up in my computer as a storage device. Iv tryed formatting it back to NTFS in command prompt but it wont let me.

Hold the windows key down and press r, in the box that appears type diskmgmt.msc, alternately search for diskmgmt.msc in the start menu if you are on Windows 7.

When Disk Management has loaded up you should see your USB hard drive, if you have no partition on it you can create one and format it. After that it should show up again.
