First of all running setup is just to configure your computer's control system for playing the game. To actually run it you're supposed to be able to just click L3D. Which BTW doesn't work. I also tried running it with the latest version of DOSBox and it said I'm missing something called MSCDEX whatever that is! I even tried the compatability tab bit and that didn't work either surprise, surprise! You sure you uploaded all the guts to it? You maybe didn't leave out a kidney somewhere?
Firstly a million and one things could have happened when you tried to run the game, what error message did you get, what did you try to get the game working? Just saying it doesn’t work is not a lot of help to anyone trying to help you Could you post all your system specifications? (processor, ram, graphics card) Your using XP, which edition? Home, Pro, Media Centre, 64bit edition? Which service pack? Are the latest drivers for your graphics card installed? Also what graphics card do you have? What Direct X version? I presume your an admin on the pc (i think i asked that before) You appear to have a lot of problems with games, old games can be tricky to get working but you don’t appear to be having much luck at all.
No need to get so hostile. MSCDEX is for using your CD-ROM drive in DOS, which is built into DOSBox already. You seem to be having trouble playing nearly every game so I'm not sure if helping you is going to make things better.
Pfft, your help requests are getting annoying, you never say anything except insult the quality of games which for the record, are fine. I dont get why so many people want to help you because they dont get any respect back! Go onto the Dosbox forums and get your DosBox working, because the games are fine its just your messed up DosBox configuration/install. End of.
Trisha Takanawa gains some rep from me. Whole heartedly agree with that post. Hope you can get the issue solved Fennyariel and please stop being so hostile to people who seem glad to help you! If something doesn't work for you and you can't find the anwser straight away, KINDLY ask someone here for help. There's no need in slagging off the uploader of a file, game etc just because it doesn't work for you. If we only uploaded things that we were 100% sure would work for everyone we wouldn't have anything uploaded! /Rant
Nobody said it was your fault, but you seem to be implying in a hostile way that it's the uploader's fault. Every computer system is different and you can't expect everything to work just with a press of a button. Also, it seem to me like you have a problem with a game about every day. Do you actually play the games or just download them and start them up once?
