I see that modded controllers are very much in fashion now. Nearly every match I play on COD4 there is someone with rapid fire. I wasn't too bothered about it before because I never came across them but now I come across them all the time.

I sent a message to a guy who was using one asking why he is using one and he answered "It's not against the rules N00B! So STFU".

What do you guys think of them? Do you use one? Why do you use it?

Using a modded controller is most likely against the Xbox Live terms of service but I’m guessing little can be done to detect people cheating like that.

I don’t use / have one as I don’t agree with cheating in internet games, what’s the point in spoiling the fun for everyone else?

I always say "if you can't beat um, join um" and as such I've got two of my controllers scheduled to be modded.

I hate being cheated like that in some games. You'll be pressing the fire button as quick as you can but there modded controllers always win. So I'm gonna get mine modded or do it myself and then dish out the same I received. ;)

I'd like to use one against someone who uses one aswell but not against other who play fair.

Well, once its modded though you don't half to press the b**** button. Just whenever sum1 uses it against you, do the same in return. Kinda like a backup plan, just in case sum1 decides they can't beat you without cheating.

That’s probably why I always fail at chainsaw duels on Gears 2 then lol

Same problem I have, youve seen how fast I can wack the button, not many people could naturally beat that yet some people just cant be beaten even if there in a laggy server.

I find it hilarious when people use modded controllers and they are shooting at Mach 2 and they say that they don't have a modded controller. It is 100% against Code of Conduct. You are taking apart a Microsoft made product and modifying it for ways it was never intended (unless 3rd parties make controller for 360). The only types of mods that are good are LED mods.(H)

I hate it when people use a modded controller. I'm trying to play a nice fair game of whatever, and then some asshole has to go and ruin it by the need to be better than everyone, and not naturally either. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about that so, we just have to deal with it.
