I was playing Batman about a half hour ago and quit to take a shower. After I showered, I turned on the Xbox to play again. I got the load screen in Batman where you select your save file. When I got there, it shows no evidence of my save file anywhere! I went to check the HDD memory to see if it was in there, and nothing was there! I am very annoyed because I was about halfway through the game and had completed around 50% of the Riddler challenges. GRRRR!:-@. I wanted to shout profanities at the top of my lungs. As far as I know, there is no way to find my save again right?

Sorry to hear about that (N), there’s nothing you can really do to get you’re save back if you don’t have it backed up. I’ve lost my Gears of War and Crackdown saves in the past so I know how you feel.

The only thing you can really do is download a save game or just play though the game again.

As you have the transfer cable I suggest making a backup of all your saves every so often.

I am certainly going to start backing them up. I forgot that I can do that with my cable. I will do that so something like this does not happen again.

I know how you feel...except X100. As I lost 80% of all saved games and not just for one game. I had almost all the jets in Over-G, which I had about 150+ hours in. Though that was because Microsoft makes horrible controllers.

That never happened to me too,It's better after you End your playing, out the game to main menu, then go to XBOX dashboard & then turn it off.

What would be better is if developers learnt how to program. Its flaws in there coding that cause it 9 times out of 10.

The only time its the users fault is if they turn off the Xbox / Go to Dash while its saving, and most games display an icon when its saving.

I play Borderlands a lot, and there's so many complaints about it corrupting saves they I do a weekly backup now.

Never had a problem with Borderlands. (getting off topic) I can mod weapons in Borderlands, might need to do that.
