I downloaded and burnt the skate 3 demo to a DVD. When I go to the games library skate 3 shows up, then disappears quickly. Any idea why? I've played demos in the past from a DVD. I used imgburn to burn the DVD. I'm using the current dashboard update if it matters. Thanks!

You've played that demo from DVD? If so try disconnecting from Xbox LIVE then see if it works.

I've never played the skate 3 demo from a DVD before. I also don't have a live account.

At what speeds did you burn the disc and what disc brand?

You may have more luck with 2X speeds, though it may just be because its a big demo.

Do you have a USB stick that you can use? That would be easier than trying to get it on a DVD.

I think that is probably what he is/meant. As its rather impossible to transfer a demo from DVD to HD. Unless its Jtagged of course.

Well I figured that's what he meant, although he coud have meant connecting the hard drive directly to his computer with a data transfer cable. Either way would work.

I do have a USB stick, but how would I go about doing that? I copied the content folder to the USB stick, but nothing showed up. I also created a profile on the USB stick and used xplorer, but it didn't detect it. Thanks for the help everyone!
