    Hey guys,

I posted this in a really old thread as well, but I wasn't sure if anyone else would see it.

I'm having an incredibly frustrating time trying to hack two 250 gig BEVT drives. I followed the tutorial exactly, but my xbox will not recognize either drive. While in the computer, it shows that they are both listed as hitachi's now.

Just in case I re-flashed them on another computer to see if it would make a difference, but it did not.

The only thing I'm a bit concerned about it that I can restore the backups. The files are present, but when I try to use them, it tells me the file size is wrong. As a last resort, I also tried to flash the 120 hddss.bin and then redid the 250. I'm out of idea's.

I would really appreciate any help that could be offered.

    Best regards,

Nevermind I guess... Even though I had been trying intermetantly for two days, I tried doing it on my laptop and had success. I don't know what was wrong, but it's working now. :D

Glad thats sorted :) some chipsets work a lot better than others, some dont work at all.
On an old PC i have with a VIA chipset hddhackr just wont recognise the drive what so ever, however on my main pc which has an nforce chipset it worked perfectly first time and the drive was hacked in about 10 seconds.

    Enjoy that new drive!
