I'm sure you all have heard about the terrible reviews on the new Sonic Unleashed game out. I myself got a pirated copy to test it out and its awful but me and a few friends agreed if the game played like the first level in the game without the werewolf rubbish it would be a perfect 3D sonic game which we would spend money on.

Well I noticed on the marketplace that the demo is now up so I downloaded it to see what they showed... and well its that awesome first level!

I'd recommend everyone play the demo, it is fun as hell. Click here to add it to your download queue.

But this has to be the best part of the game, it doesnt show the boring going round the town doing pointless missions hunting for the next level and it doesnt show the "night" levels where Sonic turns into a monster and it becomes a slow boring puzzle game. So whatever you do, do not buy the full game.

But do enjoy the demo, it shows what the Sonic team can do and should do for any future sonic game.

Thanks for the heads up on that!
I thought that the demo was great and was considering getting the game. I hate it when demos are decieving :(

The OXM is a waste of money, I used to buy it but soon realised it’s not worth it.
If you have the internet at home its worth signing up for live, even if it’s just a silver account. You don’t have to pay anything unless you want to play online.

After playing the full game before the demo I think it’s a little bit of a dirty trick how the demo is the best part of the full game, you really would be in for a shock if you purchased the game based on your experience with the demo.

My plan is keep the downloaded demo and enjoy it as the full game, its the only decent part of the full game anyway :( At 186mb it hardly takes up much room.
