Hello Everyone, So I did a web search for forum discussions regarding my Ford Sync not working after I purchased a new larger SD Card. Now my vehicle is a 2015 Ford Focus, and it is not packed with lots of technology, but what I did want to note is that ALL Ford Sync systems will only read a file format of FAT32. This is very important to keep that in mind. I have the very basic Ford Sync, without a GPS system and only two USB ports in the entire vehicle. Please don't get me wrong, this is not a complaint, but I did want everyone who found this discussion to know that you can purchase a multi card reader from your local technology store and plug into the USB port and if the SD card is formatted correctly your Ford Sync will read the card. This is a great way to get all of the music you love in a small storage device, and not use up all of your smart phones storage doing so. Now on with the discussion. On January 17, 2015 there was a discussion answered on this Digiex site posted by InsaneNutter, and this individual explains in clear detail how you can reformat an SD card of any size so that it can be used in your Ford vehicle as a mass storage device for music. In this instance I updated my card from a 32GB SDHC card to a 128GB SDXC card.
