So I just bought a broken Xbox and fixed it and now I'm wanting to probably jtag it. I really want to put one of my old PC drives in it. Mostly because I just have them sitting around. I have two 320GB laptop drives (which use SATA). I'd LOVE to just use one of those rather than buying a super expensive Xbox drive because if I jtag it, I'd like to be able to boot all my games from the HDD, which means I'm gonna need a good amount of memory.

Can I do this without jtagging or do I have to jtag it first, then install my drive?
    How do I do this?

P.S. If someone could drop me a nice jtag tut link that'd be great too!

    Drive Specifics:
    Toshiba MK3252GSX (320GB)
Western Digital WD Scorpio WD3200BEVT (320GB)
(I heard you could do something with the western digital ones...?)
    - Both HDD

    Thanks!

    Thanks it worked!

I had a problem with the SATA configuration but I messed with it and formatted the HDD!
