I downloaded the NHL10 roster update from this site. How exactly do I get it onto my hard drive? Can I inject it somehow with Xtaf Xplorer? I searched the guides but had no luck. Thanks!

This is the process I used for NHL 10, but I'm sure all EA Sports games are the same.

I downloaded the updated roster file from the request forum on this site.

The two programs you need are USB Explorer and Modio.
    http://dwl.xbox-scene.com/xbox360pc/...lease_Gui_.rar

    http://www.game-tuts.com/community/modio.php

The first thing you need to do is format a USB stick with your xbox and save an NHL10 roster file to it.

Plug in the USB to your computer and open USBXTAFGUI. Click file and load device.

You should see a folder called 0.(Dir) Content and a symbol which look like this ".."

Double click the 0.(dir) folder. You should see a folder with a whole lot of numbers. Click that and you should now have this.

    0.(dir)FFFE07D1
1.(dir)45xxxxxx (the second folder is the NHL10 folder. I put in the x's because each EA Sports game will be different)

Open the second folder. You should now see this 0.{dir) 000000001

Open that folder and you should now see the roster file you saved.

Right click the roster file and click extract. Save it somewhere to on your PC.

Open Modio, click the "M" in the top left, and click open file from computer. Open the roster file you extracted from the USB stick. It will open a small window with information about the file. Note the
profile ID and device ID. This is the information we need to put into the downloaded roster.

Click the "M" again but this time click open new resigner window. Click load from that window and open the new downloaded roster.

Now cut and paste the profile ID and device ID from your saved roster to the new downloaded roster.

Once thats done close the old roster. At the bottom of the new roster window click rehash and resign a few times. Modio doesnt seem to rehash and resign all the time, so I needed to do it a few times.

Open up USBXTAFGUI again and load your USB stick. Navigate back to the folder where the roster file is. Right click on it and click delete.

Now right click again and click inject. Browse to the new roster file we saved and inject it.

    Click file, then close drive.

Now load up NHL10 and load the new rosters from the USB stick. Save them to your hard drive and you're done!

I hope this helps! If anyone needs screenshots I can add them to this post!:D

If you can add screenshots that would be great :)

When you do some screenshots it could be worth posting it in the console guide section, its always nice to have a few new tutorials in there - Consoles - Digiex

    Hi, I was curious.

How exactly do you format your USB to make it recognizable to the xbox 360?

Currently I have a banned console and was wondering if you can download that new usb update through a disc or something.

    Appreciated in advance.

ok like to say it worked wonderful thank you very much i just bought a usb flash drive just to update fifa 10 and fifa world cup and this method worked perfect.

what i did was updated my new usb to 360 format, then transfered my game save of fifa 10 to the usb and then connected the usb to my pc, opened usbxplorer and looked for the file squads, then extracted it to my desktop and did all the rest like you said, but my last step was diferent instaed of loading squads from my usb in the game, i transfered all my files from the usb to my 360 hardrive and then loaded the game and i looked at the squads in game and YES!!! all updated:P

    again a big thank you.
