As some of you may have noticed, I have had much activity around here since summer started. I apologize for this little vacation of mine. At the beginning of summer, I ran into an old high school friend of mine while I was at work. We ended up hanging out a few times and before I knew it, we were spending everyday together before she had to head back to school (which is about an hour and half away from where we live). I wanted to get as much time with the new girlfriend as I could, which is why I wasn't posting anything. She is back in school now, as am I, so I have more free time on my hands than I did over the summer. So I'm officially back, and apologies again for my absence!
Just noticed that I haven't had a blog entry since last October so I figured I would put one up. I haven't had much free time lately and many of my friends in the UK are in the same boat. I have been diligently working on coursework over the past few months with almost no end in sight
. So far I have had two projects for my Geology class (thankfully I am finishing one at this very moment, aside from this entry though
). I also have two research papers due for my Criminal Justice classes. This is not even taking into account the exams I have to prepare for before the end of the semester. I believe I have a total of three left. Once the semester ends in about 3 weeks, I will be taking a much needed break and a vacation from work (2 weeks sounds lovely no?). I know my friends InsaneNutter and Nimrod have been doing coursework as well and cannot wait to be done with their projects. Here's to our hard work almost paying off gentleman!
I have far too many games going on right now. At the moment I am playing Operation Flashpoint; Dragon Rising, Need for Speed: Shift, Halo 3 (Multiplayer), and Halo 3: ODST (Firefight & starting another Campaign again). In the next couple of weeks I am getting some games as well such as Uncharted 2: Among Theives (October 13th), Brutal Legend (October 13th, still a bit undecided), and Borderlands (October 20). That's not even taking into account the month of November: Dragon Age: Origins (November 3rd), Modern Warfare 2 (Novemebr 10th), Assassin's Creed 2 (November 17th), and Left 4 Dead 2 (November 17th). It is all too much! I almost feel guilty spending so much money on all these games. I have been trying to save money up but all these games keep coming out.
I was supposed to work from 1:30 to 9:00 p.m. this evening but decided to call in as I am still not feeling too well. Most of the symptoms have gone away but I still have a slight fever and I don't want to get everyone else sick. Unfortunately, tonight was meant to be a training night for my new promotion coming in a couple of weeks. I can always train another night, but I will most likely need to miss a night of school for that. O well, it will work itself out.
I have been a little under the weather these past couple of days and today I had to work while still sick. It was a pretty long day. I have to work all day tomorrow as well so hopefully it goes by quick.
