    Hey, the serial number is changed to the same as an official 250gig drive, at the moment they is no way for ms to detect hacked hard drives. they could be blocked in the future however its unlikley, im sure a work around will be found if that ever did happen.

    You will not get banned for a hacked hard drive, its only consoles flash to play pirated games MS ban.
