So i guess extracting it to your desktop then moving it to your usb messes with the file some how?

well i Formated it in my console , reinstalled my cod mw2 ,...

ok here are my step by step i just did

re downloaded the hddhackr zip to my usb

redownloaded the hddss.bin zip to my usb

unzipped hddhackr inside the usb

unzipped the hddss_250gb...

so if this turns out to work for me , raptor here i come , LOL

I am on the laptop with win 7 now just for the heck of it i downloaded hddhackr and the bin.file and hackr doesnt seem to work on win 7 but it does seem like i can drop the bin file into the hackr...

i will give it a shot when the wife wakes up for work. i wonder if there is a difference if you copy to instead of just dragging and dropping into the usb

for some reason my bin file is 4kb instead of 3.50
i am running win xp pro

ok so i went back to the only place that pretains to legacy settings

and it seems to be on my parrallel port or something like that

and they are abreveations , epp , ecp ps/2 but i dont see...

ok , So this morning i recieved my VIA controller.

Now hddhackr is finding my hard drive on my original i started with. But when i go to tye HDDSS.BIN it still gives me

File is not present ,...

i also do not have any game saves or downloaded content to worry about

i only want to flash the hard drive and format in the 360 then recover gamer tag

hopefully this shouldnt be a problem ?
