If your interested in Nintendo Switch homebrew, hacks or custom firmware now is the time to quickly purchase an Fusée Gelée (RCM) exploitable Nintendo Switch. This is a hardware exploit which can't be patched, the only way to patch this exploit is for Nintendo to release an updated hardware revision, which is exactly what Nintendo is in the process of doing.

Reports are surfacing that newly purchased Nintendo Switch consoles do not work with the Fusée Gelée exploit. However for now these consoles appear to ship on firmware 4.1.0, which is vulnerable to Deja Vu, an unreleased softmod exploit.

So not all hope is lost yet if you do happen to get one of these consoles, however it would be advisable to purchase a Fusée Gelée exploitable console as soon as possible if you have an interest in homebrew on the Nintendo Switch, as this is by far the better exploit which can't be patched.
