My friends 360 is overheating constantly. He will be on the Dashboard and it will overheat. Also he tried using a intercooler and now when he uses it, it will give him E74. It will work when he doesn't use the intercooler but it overheats constantly without it. He accidentally dropped his 360 and put a small hole in it so the warranty is probably shot. He 360 DID overheat before he dropped it though, that has nothing to do with it. Any suggestions to get it to stop overheating?

This vid shows a guy fitting an x clamp... this is one of the best solutions for fixing an over-heating xbox360. if its too complicated there are people on the internet offering fitting of these for the same price microsoft charge to repair a faulty xbox... note: microsoft wont touch an xbox with the warranty sticker damaged, they will however let you pay for the repair even if your xbox case is damaged...
