For all those Borderlands players, especially CurlySteve and Nimrod , the first DLC has been announced. "Zombie Island of Dr. Ned" is the first of many DLC packs scheduled for Borderlands. According to the press release, this Dr. Ned fellow was in charge of keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive. Through what sounds like some sort of well-intentioned mishap, said workers have apparently been twisted into a mindless horde of undead horrors -- leaving it up to players to help Ned fight off the zombies, discover a cure, and retake the Cove. The DLC will cost 800 MS Points and is scheduled to be released later this year. No word yet on future DLC packs for Borderlands. Here are a few screenshots that I found.
