Has anyone ever tried taking a purchased game from thier hard drive (Mass effect, halo CE, San andreas, etc) and putting it on another hard drive. I have done this with demos, like the new left 4 dead 2 demo. I download the file someone posted on the web and just put it directly on my hdd and can play it!
It doesn't work, any paid for content is locked to the console and profile that downloaded it. Demos are not locked to anything, hence why anyone can upload them and they work for everyone else.
