GoldenEye 007 Wii - Emulated and rendered in 720p on the PC

    Well just like with Sonic 4 you are able to play GoldenEye 007 Wii thanks to the Dolphin emulator.

    The game appears to be locked to 30fps so its possible to play at near 100% speed most of the time on my system, it does drop to 25fps in places however its more than playable.

    For an FPS on the Wii its looks pretty impressive, and plays well... with the Xbox 360 joypad on the PC anyway :P I can only presume it plays fine with the GameCube controller on a real Wii. I have not really played the classic N64 GoldenEye so cant really say how it compares to the original, however from reading Wikipedia it appears the game has been changed a bit.

    If you have played 007: Blood Stone the new bond game for 360, PC and PS3 you will likely find GoldenEye 007 a bit disappointing. Blood Stone is certainly a lot more enjoyable to play... however that said I don't really think its fair to compare a remake of a classic to a modern game.
