JTAG and media center extender

    Sorry, no one seems to ever mention this:

    If I jtag my 360 (yes i know it is an exploitable unit) will i be able to use the media center extender functionality still? also, is there any way to easily install the optional media update that supports Divx? I do have another 360 and i am familiar with USB xtaf gui

    If you Jtag a console, you can still use the Media Center Extender as that doesn't require live access. The only way to be able to use the "Optional Media Update" is if you either download if from Live with a console (as it's console locked) or use a Jtag/RHG console.

    Cool, I assumed as much but just wanted to be sure. It almost seems like a lot of people don't make use of the feature. when paired with MyMovies on the PC it makes for an excellent combo. I even stream live tv to my 360's and did not wish to lose this functionality.
