Microsoft has released a new WAT patch (KB71033) that will block more than 70 cracks on your Windows 7/Vista pc. When you install it, it will check if your Windows is still legal. If not, it will turn your screen black and will give you options to buy a legal key. Every 90 days it will check if you haven't tampered with the installation and will download new definitions. You can download it via www.microsoft/genuine After a few days it will install it otherwise via Windows Update as a 'important' update for Windows 7. (if you haven't downed it via the genuine site.)

The patch is voluntary so if you don't like that microsoft will peek into your PC, you can uninstall it.

If your pc is genuine, it will show nothing...

Mod your bios with a 2.1slic and windows will activate without even been on the net, thats not blocked and never will be without rendering millions of legit customers as pirates.

They've had genuine advantage about since release on the enterprise version. Whenever you did anything windows related and also every 10ish minutes, it'd mention you had non-genuine windows and give you an option to buy a new key or carry on.
