Using xbox one TV tuner instead of digital set top box or analog cable ?

    Will xbox one tv tuner work with cable tv connection ?

    The Xbox One Tuner only works with DVB-T, so thats like Freeview in the UK.

    If you want to use cable TV, you need to continue to use the Cable TV box, but connect it to the HDMI in on the Xbox One and configure the Xbox One to control your cable TV box :)

    thanks for the reply. so its functionality is limited to DVB-T only.

    Yes thats correct, the Xbox tuner supports DVB-T and DVB-T2.
