Why is America falling apart?Because of cheap crappy Chinese products from websites and all the other Chinese companies.their products are poor quality and just at very low price .they make our products hard to sell out !their behavior is too disgusting ! isn't it?

Is this topic supposed to be serious? Is it just spam? If you're being serious xinglitain can you at least post something akin to why you truly feel America is falling apart? Otherwise I'll delete this seemingly stupid topic! Always great to see someone introduce themselves here by insulting another country. Can't wait to find out what KingBurnx and KillerWhiteMan think!

What a crappy troll. You should go ahead and delete this topic, there's no valid discussion to be had here.

This is useless. America is not falling apart for the reasons he said. When you look at other things facing our country such as economic crisis, healthcare reform, and other things, this idea of Chinese products is rubbish.

What a strange little man you are.... Why bring up such a topic followed with very little facts to support your own weird theory?

The US is in the middle of a GFC (Global Financial Crisis) that seriously effected the fat cats of the US who had been bolstering the US economy. The US banks were a major contributor to the downfall in the way that they handled (handed out) loans. Once it became apparent that the way the loans worked and the realisation that they could never be properly repaid, nor could they actually make money off of them, the banks began bailing out which in turn led to the collapse of the stock market.

Another reason that the US is struggling to regain it's footing is due to the unpopular "police actions" currently taking place within the Middle East. The rest of the world doesn't want to be lead by a country that looks (possible is) like it's going to war for their own financial gain, or in the case of the Iraq/Afghanistan, Oil.

Now I could be completely wrong on any or all of the above, but this is how you should have approached the start of this thread, with sound opinions followed by logic.

China has nothing to do with it, the world has been buying cheap products from China for decades. Also China is a major manufacturer for a lot of products designed and marketed by US companies, such as Apple, Old Navy, Wal-Mart, etc... Even other countries/companies from around the world have their goods manufactured there. And why do they do that? Cheap labour. If the rest of the world could compete in this area you'd find that these companies would move their production closer to home. Ford, GM, Chrysler, all had plants in Mexico, if they haven't closed them down, because it was cheaper, labour wise, to build cars down there and transport them to the rest of the world than it was to build them in the US.

The manufacturing and importing/exporting goods from overseas has been occurring for a long time and has nothing to do with the US's financial or global down fall.

    (Y) Healthcare Reform is a brilliant idea as I have stated before. Obama is trying to win over as many Republicans as he can. For the most part I think he is doing that pretty well. Of course, you will always have Republicans that don't agree, like the asshole that called Obama a liar during his address to Congress some months ago.

Very well said Bonez. It seems like people like our thread starter here like to put the blame on other countries and not look internally at what has been leading us here for the past 10 years or so. Like you said, China has been manufacturing and importing/exporting goods for years and no one has thought it was a problem until now because they need a scapegoat for the economic crisis. What has led us to this issue has been the country's leaders the past 10 years or so, maybe even as far back as George Bush Sr. If you look at when we went to war in Iraq, we started wasting so much money there. Yes, removing Saddam from power was a good thing, but I don't see why we have to babysit a country. In most cases, when someone babysits, they get money for it. In our case, we babysit a country and it costs us around $30 trillion a month. Great right? There are so many things that contribute to why we are here in this situation, least of which is this idea about Chinese products.

The fact that YOU see it that way makes ME sad. There is nothing wrong with having a conversation such as this one. If you don't think it is relative that's fine, but please let people that DO think it's relative have the conversation ;).

It would be no different than if a regular user made the comment. Do not judge others because they feel strongly about something.
