Wah 24hrs?? i paid for 3 months and i deserve every moment of live which I paid for... Live shoudl be technically should be for free. At first it costed them to setup the servers now that is paid off they still make us pay for LIVE... and these extra features dont take long to implement onto the xbox. Controllers cost them to make them is around $5-$10. etc... (RIP OFF) not cool... :'(

Welcome to Microsoft. However, I'm sure the money we spend goes towards getting things such as Last.FM and Twitter for Xbox LIVE. But I do agree, it should be live and we pay for content, or we should pay and get content free. That's my view.

If Microsoft didn’t upgrade the live servers your online experience on live would be pretty crappy, then you really would feel like your been robbed. 1 day of planned maintenance in the last 8 months or so is nothing...

Something as big as xbox live can’t run forever without upgrades and maintenance, apart from the odd blip it is pretty much up 24/7

The new friends list layout is pretty nice I must admit, apparently there is some problems with buying content from the market place since the maintenance.

I must say that I like the new layout of the friend's list on the website. I'm sure there will be more service days in the future with all of the new imorovements and content being released within the next year.
