Hey I need this but it won't let me download it how can I get it
Bluetooth Dongle (ISSCEDRBTA) Driver for Windows XP SP2 and SP3
Purchased one of those cheap USB dongles like the one at http://www.ledshoppe.com/Product/com/CA3010.htm for only 5 dollars but found to use it you need to spend money on the software? Or if you have found a cracked version or actually bought it and found its useless and wanted to use the built in Bluetooth in Windows XP SP2 or 3? Well now you can!
USB Bluetooth Dongle:
(Note: Design can vary and may not look like above)
What I have done is modified the Bluetooth driver file that comes with XP SP2, to include this dongle by adding its hardware ID to the supported devices list.
Before you can install this, you must make sure you have updated your XP to at least Service Pack 2, as this included the Bluetooth Support Addon.
To install, download and extract all the files somewhere, like for example on your desktop in a folder called Bluetooth drivers. Then plug the stick in, Windows will fail to find the drivers and ask you to either provide a location for them, or provide a CD. Provide the location and give Windows the folder location of the extracted drivers. Windows will now install the drivers and your Dongle will be ready for use.
You should now be up and running with the Windows Bluetooth Interface, which you can find in Control Panel or in the System Tray.
You have now got a dirt cheap Bluetooth Adaptor to work fully without having to pay extra for any rubbish software.

Information:
Download is below for Windows XP SP2 and above.
If your using Windows Vista (either 32-bit or 64-bit) you may be interested in the Vista version of these drivers located at:

Please:
If this Bluetooth Driver works for you and saved you having to spend money on the terrible Bluesoleil Bluetooth drivers, consider donationg a couple of dollars to Digiex. This server costs $40 a month which is being paid for by a student and money would go towards bandwidth costs. If this did help you please consider donating, its worth rewarding those who helped you for nothing.

Thank you![]()

Why won't it download for you? At the bottom of the post you can see the file (BluetoothXP.zip). Just click it and it should download. If not, try right clicking --> save target as.

Looks like a good idea, but .... even though I've registered and logged in, the site claims I'm linking from another site (I'm not) and gives an ugly warning about leechers. What is up with that??
It's most likely a conflict with a security package you have installed on your PC such as Norton Internet Security or another similar package from another company. Software like this can sometimes block the referring URL you clicked the download link from, this means the Digiex web server is unable to tell if you clicked on the link from Digiex or another website, this can cause the error about leeching the download.
You can disable such software and try and download the driver again, if that doesn’t work send me a private message with your email address and I'll send you the drivers.

Hey there, it will be possible to hack these drivers to work in Windows XP X64, however at the time the drivers were originally hacked no one at Digiex had a 64bit XP install to do this.
Nimrod is currently on holiday and won’t be back for at least another week, if you check back then or send him a message he should be able to help you get the Bluetooth dongle working on XP 64bit.

Hi Nimrod,
Thanks very much for your work on this. I'll be happy to donate a few dollars to your cause if you can help me to get this to work on my computer.
What I've done:
-Connect USB dongle
-Found New Hardware wizard
-Locate downloaded files (from digiex.net)
-Get an error message: "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware."
It won't let me get past this point. Any ideas?
The crappy USB dongle in question is a Ritmo CB-545 and it came with the BlueSoleil software (evaluation version only, otherwise I probably wouldn't have complained to start with..)
... and I'm using Win XP SP2.
Thanks in advance! You can hold me to that donation offer through PayPal - I trust you can view my email address via your admin CP (I use the same address for PayPal).![]()
Did an XP X64 version of the driver get done and I used to use the 32bit version and now I've installed X64 I would like to get this bluetooth adaptor working.
Thanks
It is not working for me on XP Sp3. It says driver not found even though I specify the driver folder or force it in advanced and have disk. I have the horrible bluesoleil v2.6.0.8 that came with it...but I am finding it difficult(impossible) to get my Palm to connect with ActiveSync.
My brother bought this dongle and the driver on cd that came with dongle (Bluesoleil ) doesnt work, i get error mesage how it didnt installed properly, so after some searching by device's name i found this place, but i have a problem, when i point to location where i exctracted archive druing instalation wizard, it just skips to last step like there are nothing in that folder. Any tips ? My os is winXPsp2.

Installation of driver from cd went ok but the program doesnt detect the dongle, so i uninstalled it and downloaded this one, did everything as written in 1st post but as i already said, when i point the wizard to folder it just skips like nothing is there. I think i have this device cause in device manager its described as ISSCEDRBTA and its identical as one in pic.

Tried it and it doesnt work, then during wizard i chose option not to install, will choose drivers and then tried bluetooth device and bluetooth radio and then pointed installation to bth.inf only to get message "the location does not contain information about your hardware". Im starting to think the dongle is malfunctioned from the start, i'll just go and buy myself a decent one this time.
So i gave it one last shot, i found in IVT Readme some commands to add in .inf files in BlueSoleil folder and sys32 if device doesnt work properly, tried that and it didnt worked so i changed VID and PID number in commands to ones from device manager dongle properties page, that didnt work either. Im off to buy another dongle, any recommendations ?
Warning ! Don't waste your time reading this !
First off, thanks for the information, I'm finally getting to use my BT dongle to sync my phone and transfer files.
I also have BT headphones that I'm trying to connect, does not seem to be working.Does anyone know if the Microsoft stack support A2DP and AVRCP?
Thanx
Thanks Nimrod...
Will you add support for Human Interface Device Service? I want to make my Sony-Ericsson mobile phone remote controller...
Thanks again...
If there is help, I will gladly donate, it's cost me more in time!
I have tried ruthlessly to get my D-Link DBT-120....B4 to work with Vista. No go. If I purchase this or this type will this driver allow the Bluetooth to show up in "My Computer,", or "Computer" in Vista? What I am trying to do is have my Lg Vu 920 paired and if it shows in "Computer" then I can drag and drop. Any input?? Thanks....oh may as well admit,,,pretty new at solving issues like this.

I'm having a strange problem!
The drivers are installed in my system and the device manager also shows the bluetooth device connected. But no file transfer occurs! When I right click on a file and click "send to bluetooth device", it shows that box of file transfer, but in the end says
"The file could not be sent because the connection could not be established. Check to make sure the Bluetooth radio is plugged in."
The device is plugged in, so I wonder why is this displayed.
This happened since I have updated my system to SP3 from SP2.
Please help!
The driver could need updating to be SP3 compatible as they are based on SP2 code, off hand I’m not sure if the Bluetooth stack has changed in SP3 but if so it could be why people are having problems.

Merry Christmas!
Hi, did an XP 64 bit version of this driver ever become available? There was some talk of it earlier in the thread but there doesn't seem to be a download.
Here's hoping![]()
Right, Now the Christmas Period is over I'm going to work tomorrow on the SP3 driver for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
Should be up sometime tomorrow. Though I need someone with XP 64-bit to help me with a few files. If someone with it can send me there MSN address via "Private Message" and ill work with them to get the driver up tomorrow.
Edit:
I worked with someone on some XP x64 Drivers but when I sent him my work he never replied if it worked or not.
If someone can give them a go at let me know: http://users.digiex.net/nimrod/BluetoothXP64.zip

I've also got a problem. I can get the Widcomm software off fine. But when I point the driver upgrade wizard at the folder that holds the new drivers it tells me that the folder does not contain any software that would be better for my hardware than what I already have and won't install, instead giving me the choice to keep what I have installed or look elsewhere.
I also have XP SP3. I'm not sure what else it could be.
I replied to your post in the BMC2046 driver thread, unless you happen to own both Bluetooth devices you need to use the correct driver, this driver will not work for the BMC2046 and visa versa.
As I said in my other post you say that you removed the Widcomm software but did you remove the Widcomm drivers for the device?

Tried editing my existing bth.inf files (in c:\windows\inf\) to match the one in that file and let Windows search for "recommended software". Still no luck.
Any suggestions?
can i get a copy of this driver?tnx
