    Here is the Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility Update - November 2007 .
    This is for people that don't have Xbox Live .
    In November 2007 Microsoft updated the backwards compatibility of the Xbox 360 .
    With this update you can play more Xbox 1 Games then before .

    Here is how to update your Xbox 360 :

    1. Download the file below .
    2. Unrar the file.
    3. Burn the default.xex to a disc at minimum speed ( You can use a CDR ) .
    4. Put the disc in the Xbox 360 .
    5. Press play game & follow the instructions .
    6. Play your old Xbox 1 games on your Xbox 360 .

    This will work on any Xbox 360 Console with a HDD.

    So with this, i should be able to play GTA San Andreas on my Xbox360 Arcade?

    No , you need a 360 hdd to play backward comp. Xbox 1 games .
    The Arcade 360 doesn't have a hdd , sorry .

    Actually, i have an old 20GB HDD, from my original Xbox360 that ****ed up. (The HDD works)

    Good . just use the 20 gig hdd and then use this update . You should be able to play Xbox 1 games .

    Got the update done last night, and FINALLY i can play GTA SA. Thankyou so much.

    I cant wait to play sanandreas also getting a 250Gb hard drive for christmas

    Only problem with SA on the 360, is that the cutscenes sometimes end up not syncing with the sounds, which is a problem i only experience on the 360. Still a rare problem though.

    The best result playing Xbox 1 games is in 720p or 1080i.
