Xbox 360 Dashboard Update 2.0.12625.0 Download

    Information:

On Wednesday, January 19th we will issue a mandatory dashboard update that (re) enables the ‘Boot to Disc’ option in the Xbox 360 dashboard. After you accept the update, you’ll be able to set the option to boot to the Xbox 360 dashboard OR directly to the game you have in the tray when you power up your console. This option can be found in the System Settings. Additionally, on Thursday January 20th the Xbox.com team will ship an update that contains a small update to the Gamercards. We’ve updated the Gamercard look and feel a bit and removed gamerzone from the card. Other than that, the same amount of information is on the card.

AP 2.5 checks for the following Games:

    Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
    Fable III
    Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
    Halo Reach
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
    Call of Duty: Black Ops

Any Others Please Post and a Moderator or myself will add to this list.

    How to install:
    1.) Unrar the download
2.) Copy the $SystemUpdate folder to the root of a CD or USB Stick (The memory stick must be FAT or Fat32 formatted)
3.) Insert the CD or USB Stick into your Xbox 360 console.
4.) You will be automatically prompted to update with a USB stick, with a CD / DVD it should say Mixed Media Disc, power down the 360 and power it on again. You should be ask to update before the 360 boots to the dashboard.
5.) Once the update is complete your Xbox 360 will restart then boot up to the new dashboard. Enjoy!

I have created a video to try and help those of you who are having problems:

Buy the game and it will play fine.

You need to update your DVD drives firmware to LT+ and burn the game again with the AP2.5 data patched to the ISO.

Has your console got a newer dashboard version?

Is your memory stick Fat32 formatted?

Shows us whats on your memory stick?
