2.0.2 Custom Firmware

Information:

This Custom Firmware will replace boot logos, recovery logos and add Cydia and the Installer to your iPhone or iPod Touch.

How To:
1.) Make sure you have iTunes downloaded. You may get it from here.

2.) Make sure you have your iPhone or iPod Touch plugged into the USB.

3.) Download the file you need to begin jailbreaking. Links are below. Please choose according to what iPhone or iPod you have.

4.) Once the file is downloaded simply double click on it, the jailbreak should begin then. Wait untill your iPhone or iPod Touch turns back on.

5.) Once its on, iTunes should ask if you want to setup as a new or restore from a backup, That means you have an option to put all the stuff you may of lost back on it. After this is done, your done.

6.) Begin playing with a new jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch.

Once you have installed this custom Firmware you can download a patch that will allow you to sync apps to your iPhone or iPod Touch that you do not own. You will half to have to OpenSSH. This program can be downloaded from Cydia once you have jailbroken your iPhone or Ipod Touch. Though More about that can be read here. This does work on my iPhone though may not work on all.

If you don't like what has been done you can always plug into iTunes and it will upgrade you to 2.2 firmware. However you will loose those two apps and boot logos.

Note: You will loose everything on your iPhone or iPod Touch If your using a firmware greater than 2.0.2. So make sure you have it all backed up.
