    if my graphic card is not up to date, is there a place where i can download it for free so i can play l4dead?

    If you have Vista: on your desktop right click, go to personalise then click on display Settings.

    If you have XP: on your desktop right click, press properties.

    It should bring a window up that says what monitor is connected to what graphics card.

    e.g. 1. Dell 2208 WFP(Digital) on Nvidia Geforce 8800GT.

    i just recently downloaded this game and i think its amazing but the language on it is something other then english idk what it possibly could be but any how is there a way to fix it?

    As a few people look to be having language problems I’ve had a look around and there apparently a patch to fix this, I’m uploading it at the moment, it should be on in a couple of hours.

    Edit - try this.

    English Voice Fix

    Download Here

    1. Unpack
    2. Overwrite the english survivor folder with the russian survivor folder in - Left 4 dead demo/left4dead/sound/player
    3. Play the demo in english!

    How do you unpack it? then overwrite? can u possibly post a pic of you doing it or something?

    Use WinRAR to unpack it. If you don't have WinRAR get it here. Click on the first one that says WinRAR 3.80. After you download it, install it.
    (I don't have L4D on the PC so someone else will have to help you with that.)

    alright i downloaded it and installed it like you said and then this screen came up that showed at the top of it add, extract to, test, view etc. and i have no idea how to really do this, if i knew how to put a pic up of it i would but thats the best i could ellaborate.

    ok changing subject for me, if the demo runs well on my comp does that mean the real game will work to?

    Yes, as far as I'm aware Valve haven't really released any patches that up the graphics in the full game so if the demo works for you you should be good to go and buy the full game.
