Source Sounds pretty good to me! i hope it has co-op like Resident Evil 5, that's probably the only way i will ever finish it!
yep theres 3 campaigns leon kennedy chris redfield and alex wesker aka albert weskers son i hope its like ORC engine loved the co-op 4 squad engine
ORC engine was extremely terrible, I personally hope it's nothing like that game because if it is, it'll never go near my Xbox. That and the storyline to this game just sounds stupid beyond belief, they've completely lost what Resident Evil used to be.
RE5 didn't even feel like an RE let alone. RE5 was cool but I didn't like the control's system at all, it wasn't like GTA/CoD or any TPS game I play.
I'm pretty sure they've already said RE6 has Co-op InsaneNutter so I'll help you finish the game for sure (just like RE5 ). I personally don't mind the story of the RE titles. I think it was pretty confusing and stupid from the start TBH. As for the horror aspect I agree that I'd rather it try to go back down that route but I didn't mind the mainly action driven gameplay of RE5.
You would have never played it without co-op either, you had owned it for months and not even opened it! I did enjoy the more action driven game play on RE5, i think it worked very well as a co-op game too. I really do need to play the other games in the series, i have only really played the first one and the fifth. I do prefer the style of game play the 5th offered a lot more though.
I like RE5 it's my favorite and may still be my favorite. I hate REORC it's awful... Resident Evil 5 is a game i play daily to kick some ass in Versus mode!
Agreed, i played about 20 mins of that and it was enough... very disappointing game. Certainly not what i expected put it that way... I see why it got 3/10 in reviews now.
i actually loved ORC but like the reviews say its like marmite love it or hate it and resident evil went downhill by re4 look at the resident evil 4 beta was originally horror then went action
I imagine they scrapped RE3.5 because it literally had no base compared to the previous RE games. Little dolls attacking and enemies coming out of paintings isn't quite something RE has ever had but I have seen plenty of prototypes to show they did want to do these things. In my opinion RE4 was the best of them all. While I loved the first 3 Resident Evil games with how far games developed there was no way they could keep it a fixed camera. I also enjoyed combining treasures and buying attachments for guns, something RE5 removed completely. While RE4 was more action paced it still kept the horror feel to it unlike RE5. Honestly I think RE6 is taking it a bit over the top, you want action in the game, cool, that's fine but I want to play a Resident Evil game not something that looks like it's a Michael Bay movie. While I didn't play ORC in co-op, it was the most mediocre game i've ever played. Running even slightly into a wall makes you put your back onto it. Human AI can survive 3 or more bolt action sniper rifle rounds. They give you a dive move after sprinting but you only go 2 feet, honestly looks more like you're belly flopping the ground. Aiming was more stop and go rather than having a good pressure turn. You can only carry a small amount of ammunition, with ammo crates everywhere, which made it feel arcadish. Honestly, the only good thing about it was that I could keep walking while holding down the trigger to aim.
I already pre-orderd RE6 . BTW , i also loved Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City . The new Spec Ops Mission 1 DLC was great .
Hopefully this is true, I like RE5 a lot and didn't hate it as much of the "real/hardcore" fans. People must understands times change. For now I just hope one RE6 campaign is very survival horror oriented.
From what I've gathered from previews and trailers it seems Capcom are trying to please most fans. Leons campaign seems to be more survival horror than Chris's but I'm not too sure what that Mercs section of the game will play like. Either way, it seems they have brought back some original zombies though they may just manifest into something else (Capcom loves to do this it seems).
