ok when u first turn on ur xbox there is the 360 intro and straight after, the lower half of the screen turns blue with a few other coloured pixels, then the same happens for the top half... then it goes to dashboard and it goes normal. i can play games ect. ect.

im concerned about the blue screen because it did not happen before i put re5 on it.

could it be a possibility that this may be because of my visual settings?

as i say this did not happen before i used this file

Well I really don't think RE5 could of done this. Are you using the new NXE? I'd say to make sure all your xbox cables are connected good and your visual settings are correct on your xbox and tv. If your plugged in through Component (red, green, blue cables) you might wanna check that the wire is set to HD or SD. There is a switch on the back of the xbox on that cable. If your using that one.

If you believe it may of done something to your drive you can try performing maintenance on it. Follow these instructions.

    - go to your system tab on your dashboard
    - select memory
    - highlight your Hard Drive and press the Y button
    - on your controller press: X, X, LB, RB, X, X
    - a tab on the right should pop up asking to perform maintenance
    - Accept

    blue screen reply

well when you turn the xbox on like normal the intro comes up just before you go onto the dashboard. just after the intro the lower half of the screen turns dominantly blue with other little pixels of color. once it goes onto the dashboard i can do everything im sopposed to with the xbox however i feel very worried about this.

this never happened before i put re5 on and i managed to play it but now it always displays this 'blue screen' every time.

i swear i did everything correctly. i put the content folder straight onto a cd and the game worked fine so i have done that process fine but i think the file has somehow overrun my console and i causing this to happen.

i take good care of my xbox and nothing like this has happened before.

otherwise i may suspect there is something wrong with the visual options on my console.

Have you tried to flip the switch on the AV cable? I think if you do that it will reset the visual settings. I played the demo on my 360 and there is no visual distortion after playing Resident Evil 5 on the disc drive.

It sounds like a problem one of our other members had (Haloman) before his 360 crashed completely and it wasn't even the usual RROD. His screen just pixalated and then froze after 10 mins whilst he was in a game. I'd take your 360 back to whereever you bought it and ask for a replacement or have it sent off to Microsoft. In fact my first 360 did the same thing before it finally red ringed after a week of problems. It has nothing to do with the RE5 demo as tons of people have downloaded it from Digiex and you're the first to complain about a "virus".

Its impossible to get a "virus" on the 360 as all code has to be signed to run on it, there's currently no way to sign your own code or exploit the 360 (unless you haven't updated your 360 in the last two years), if the demo was modified the 360 would just refuse to boot it.

Thanks uploader, demo works perfect. I had some problems in beginning because I burned last file in those folders.
    Guide:
    1. unrar downloaded file (if you downloaded torrent it isnt necessary)
    2. make DATA disc in Nero (I used it) and add folder "Content"
    3. burn it to cd or dvd (games works faster on DVD)
    4. put disc into xbox 360
    5. go to "game library" then to "demos and trials"
    6. there is game, just select play button

Can you upload some more demos, please because I have Arcade console and I cant download demos from marketplace.

You can request demos here. Most of them will be uploaded if the demo is out.
