i'd have to say the game that has let me down the most this year would have to be halo wars..:(

For so long ive wanted the next game in the halo series and when i got it i was very very dissapointed in the effort that went into the game , i traded it in the next day it was that rubbish:(

If anyone else has any games that have let them down this year please get back on this form thank you =]

Mines probably GTA 4, I had high hopes for it but I just couldn’t get in to it.

It was a bit too realistic for me.. I got annoyed with flying through my car windscreen all the time, having to go and meet people when I just want to get on with the games missions.

I also found the missions a bit boring too to be honest, I hear they get better when you get in to the game but after I got a couple of hours in to the game I had just had enough.

The multiplayer is a bit of a joke too, when you change game type it always seems to dump you in a server with random people.

As for Halo Wars, I personally didn’t expect it to be any good.. an RTS game on a console it a big no for me, it’s one type of game you really do need a mouse to play and enjoy.

Wait for Halo 3: S.T.D. i mean ODST or whatever its called now. Thats the next Halo FPS games :)

I'd have to say. Halo 3, CoD4 and Waw (Multiplayer aspect). Left 4 Dead. Resident Evi 5 (friendly AI), Street Fighter IV (Bosses are so damn repetitive), Devil May Cry 4 (Button Mashing unti the end.)

What button do you press for using your Sword? I believe it is the X button. I just wish they had a counter for how many times you've pressed the X button. The game itself was average, it wasn't nothing too special.

Somebody is hard to please eh? I would have to say the biggest let down was Far Cry 2. I was very excited about this game before it came out and when I got it, I was disappointed. The lack of any fast travel option in the game was a shock. The map was so large that it took forever to get to where you needed to go, then when you got there you had to turn around and go back again. The A.I.was dumb too, and it took forever to kill them.

Fixed, Some new user posted thanks to every single post they could find in the Computing Help section so I run a script to remove all there thanks, this led to figures being a little messed up lol.

Most let down game has to be Gears of War 2, expected so much from it, yet its rubbish. Matchmaking failure.

Gears 2 was not that much of a let down. The campaign was great I thought but yes, the matchmaking did suck. It still has not been totally fixed. If it ever gets fixed, I would play it online more often.

I must say the worst game of all times for me has to be Tom Clancy's Splinter cell double agent, GRAW2 was excellent, i thawt splinter cell would be worth the buy, but it wasnt, the game all in all just sucks!! i thawt Tom clancy, that created Syphon Filter, would make something similiar, but its a terrible game, anybody know if their was Syphon Filter on XBOX360?? that would be good??

For me it would have to be UT3 (nice rhyme). The reason being, some members here know how much I love (I still play it) UT2004 and my expectations for the sequel were a bit too high now I think back on it. I did manage to finish the campaign twice on co-op with my friends (no way in hell was I gonna play that crap with the AI) and I couldn't really get into the MP as much as I have UT2004. Perhaps I have to get used to it but that's hard to do when you find something boring.

Agreed. I liked Halo Wars, mind you, I don't like PC RTS games, they take too long for my liking, I have no patience lol.

I would have to agree with Trebor, UT3 was quite the letdown. It could have been a great game.

Omg let me see. They are all tied between 3 games.

Assassins Creed - Had potential but you ended up doing the same crap. What purpose does it solve to assassinate 3 random guards or pick-pocket someone? I mean I thought you'd have to do some detective work to find targets not that crap.

Manhunt 2 - Had an awesome American Psycho-ish story going. Sadly to the butchering of the story, kills and gameplay design it didn't go anywhere near it's potential.

Portal - Don't get me wrong. I loved this game to death, but no doubt by the time I played it the novelty of some the elements seemed to have worn off. The gameplay, story and puzzles we're unforgettable. But the humor...not so much. I can see why it could be funny, but I guess the influx of over 1000 stories, webcomics and countless post ruined it.

How in the world did I forget that one? That game was so repetitive!

I agree on Assassin's Creed and Manhunt 2 as well. The game could have been very good had they made it on the 360. Let's hope Manhunt 3 will be great on the 360; I hear they are going to crank up the violence and gore and Rockstar is again going to push the envelope.

Well the thing is for Manhunt 2 they pushed it past the envelope. It was too violent and gory for them to publish it they would have to of taken an adult rating making it hard for the game to get around. So Rockstar had to dim the game down a lot for it to have a M rating. Although you can get the uncensored PSP version if you have Custom Firmware.

Well I remember reading somewhere that after the Manhunt 2 fiasco, Rockstar got a some kind of attorney that basically deals with the ESRB and somehow allows Rockstar to produce games how they want, within reason of course. Here's to hoping Manhunt 3 will be great because if you combine Manhunt 1 with its uncensored kills, with the kills of Manhunt 2, you get nothing but pure violence galore. And to see that powered by the 360's technology would be awsome I think.

Though I've never played a Manhunt game, I've heard A LOT about them.
